Ali or Tyson? (Let the flaming begin...)
I just looked at the new footage from Ea Sports Fight Night, and I must say that i'm impressed(even if it's only because of Tyson). But, while I was watching the video, I was also reading comments about how the fight would turn out if they were to fight in their primes. Both fighters had their strengths. Ali had his bag of tricks, Speed, Reach, talked a lot of S***, and could take a crap load of hits. Let's not forget Tyson, the highlight of FNR4. His combination of speed and power was second to none, not to mention his headspeed was incredible. Plus, for the people who admire style(most of em' think Tyson didn't have any), Tyson was one of the best technical fighters to ever step foot in the ring. With all of that being said, I REALLY think Tyson would win. Ali was a great fighter, but his tricky style wouldn't work on Tyson. I never was a fan of the Rope-A-Dope, it takes power of the punches, but you're still getting punched. I know Tyson's not a "smart" man, but there's no denying that he could demolish you if literally "Let your guard down" for...I think it was 3.2 secs(fastest Tyson KO). Ali was a prominent figure when he was boxing, he changed the style of it. He contributed more to the sport than anybody else did. But, if you putaside all they contributed to the sport(good or bad lol), how many times they got locked up, and let me know who would REALLY win.......

My experience with Madden 09 On-Line....
I knew from past experiences, that when you take your skills on-line with any game, you're stepping into a whole new world lol. I knew I would lose my first couple of games, well, more like 4. It was enjoyable, but I hate losing. I was trying to find a team that would fit my playing ****.....and the Cowboys are a winner. They run the 3-4 and their Offense has a lot of power. My games with the other 2 teams didn't turn out so well, but it's plenty of other people that play with the Giants and Jags. I'm starting to recognize the tendencies of on-line opponets. I see they like to tighten their d-line, and they run a lot more than in the past. They use the slot wr a lot, or if they have a fast rb, they move him to slot with a straight route. I know the more I play, the more I'll get better, especially since I know my weakness....Defense. My opponets were scoring WAY too much, they know a lot of tricks to get past the sloppy all-pro D. It's crazy how much Madden changes when it comes to on-line strategy. It's something new every year. Well, if how im starting off is gonna lead to an outcome similar to Call Of Duty 4, then I should be great in no time..

What happened to EA Games(First Blog)?
What's going on with Ea? I remember when they were about making good and INNOVATIVE games. Now they're trying to buy every independent/innovative gaming company in sight. This disappoints me(and everyone else) a lot, because I have a lot of good memorys with EA. I'm not trying to say "EA suckz azz", but hard work and competetion can bring out the best in any company, especially EA. I remember back when 2K was making football games, both were competing for the number 1 spot. Not too long before 2K5 football came out , I was HUGE Madden fan. The music and presentation of Madden was always pretty good, but 2K5 took it to another level with the ESPN integration. 2K5 was the best and most realistic football game i've ever experienced on any console. Not too long after figured out how to practice my players on 2K5(Yeah, it took me a min.), EA buys the NFL licence. At first, I wasn't too hurt about the situation. I thought the Madden games would be significantly better, but they weren't. Every Madden after 2005 sucked, even the next-gen ones. Another one of my favorite franchises, SSX, also fell off. The first SSX was one the best games i've ever played, period. I never payed attention to snowboarding till SSX came out during the first wave of the many innovative PS2 games. I think the 1st problem with EA is the most obvious, the company trying to buy all the competetion. The 2nd problem with EA, is that they've become too mainstream. It's like they're scared to try something new, or they've just flatout ran out of ideas. EA needs to stop spending money trying to buy all these companies, and put more money into coming up with new ideas for new franchises. Come on EA, stop playing Monopoly and try something new. Maybe a lil' Scrabble(Corny, I know).
