  About the Anime Convention

  Yeah, I know, this blog is WAY late, my dad moved the computer into a different room, and I was just goofing off and stuff.

  Anyways, the anime convention last Saturday was fantastic! I got a bunch of neat stuff and even met FUNimation voice actor Vic Mignogna. I was cosplaying as Shuichi Shindou from Gravitation. Every girl who knew I was Shuichi just wanted to hug me. XD

  I got a wooden sword (not a shinai), a One Piece necklace of Luffy's Straw Hat, Death Note keychain of chibi Light, a Chibi Uryu Ishida magnet, a kitty Train Heartnet doll (so adorable! ), and I got a tiny One Piece wrapper with a random Straw Hat inside, I got Nico Robin.

  I also took pictures with cosplayers, but I'm not going to post them here. I took pictures with:
  1. Three characters from Gintama: Gintoki, Shinpachi, and Sogo Okita.
  2. Haruhi Suzumiya
  3. Riku from Kingdom Hearts (The Riku cosplayer was the Riku from the first Kingdom Hearts)
  4. Shuichi Shindou from Gravitation
  5. Tifa Lockhart
  6. Ichigo Kurosaki The guy who was cosplaying Ichigo was awesome, (he was Asian XD) (Usually Asian people pull off cosplays greatly.)
  7. Jet Black from Cowboy Bebop.
  8. Female Link cosplayer
  9. Squall Leonhart
  10. Female Dark Link cosplayer
  11. Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass
  12. Testament from Guilty Gear

  Sadly, I didn't find an Eiri Yuki, to take a picture with, because of that, I'll be cosplaying Shuichi Shindou again in the next anime convention.

  My favorite cosplayers were Ichigo Kurosaki who pulled off the cosplay very nicely, and Jet Black.
  I saw the Jet Black cosplayer at the anime convention I went to a year ago. He was wearing a suit with a fedora, sunglasses and a green tie. This guy looked exactly like Jet. His cosplay was awesome.

  Like I already said, I met Vic Mignogna there. I told him that I was a big fan of One Piece and I even told him that I love the songs he sings for the FUNimation One Piece dub, he was definetely happy to hear that . I took a photo with him too. I met him at the autograpg booth, so I had to be quick for the other people in line. I didn't get to tell him about my intentions of becoming a FUNimation voice actor. I'm sure that we'll meet again soon.

  My birthday is almost coming, on August 26th, I'll be 17. For my birthday, all I want are Black Cat complete series on DVD, and a pre-order of One Piece Unlimited Cruise Episdoe 1.

  I just found out that Vic's birthday is August 27th, pretty cool huh?

  Anime Convention tomorrow, scan of One Piece Unlimited Cruise EP 1 box cover art

  Tomorrow is the Anime Convention, and my cosplay is finally ready, the last item for my cosplay came in the mail earilier today. I'll be cosplaying Shuichi Shindou from Gravitation. This is my big chance to meet FUNimation voice actor Vic Mignogna (voice of Edward Elric from FullMetal Alchemist, and sings most One Piece songs in English.)

  My 17th birthday is also coming up soon, I want to get Black Cat, the complete anime on DVD, and I want a pre-order of One Piece: Unlimited Cruise Episode 1 for the Wii. The box cover art for the game has been revealed, and it looks fantastic.

  I'm going to another anime convention!

  Satuday August 9th, I'm going to San Japan 1.5, San Antonio's first ever anime convention! I'll be going with a friend one mine who invited two of her friends to come along. My friend will be cosplaying as Rip Van Winkle from Hellsing. One of her friends will be Misa from Death Note. I'll be cosplaying as Shuichi Shindou from Gravitation, but with my own casual touch, so I'll also sort of be myself. I'll be wearing:
  1. My black One Piece T-shirt with a white long-sleeve underneath.

  2. Green shorts.
  3. Orange suspenders with skull and crossbones.
  4. Socks, one with checker pattern, and the other covered with skull and crossbones.

  6. My leather Gravitation wristband on my left wrist, and another leather wristband on my right wrist.

  I just need something that'll temporarily color my hair purple, or maybe a wig. .........Wow, a guy cosplaying a Yaoi character, you don't see that every time you go to an anime convention. XD
