  recounting my birthday

  hello everyone!! The time is close to midnight here in australia, and I've had a great birthday. I'm doing a course in retail operations right now, so I had to drag myself to the training centre this morning at 9am. While I was at the training centre, they surprised me by bursting in with a cake and a chorus of "happy birthday" It was a pretty embarrasing moment; these people from the training centre knew it was my birthday because it's in my personal information in their computers. I got out of there just before 4pm, and headed to the pub around 7. I had family and friends for dinner and drinks, a party of around 20 people. People where buying me drinks faster than I could drink them, and when they asked me what I wanted I said "surprise me!" so I had a whole range of weird sh** in front of me - spirits, cider and a weird Indonesian beer. I had lots of fun, but I had to call it a night early because I have to drag myself to that damn training centre at 9am tomorrow!

  an unremarkable blog

  Absolutely nothing interesting has happened to me in recent days. Haven't played any games or anything. I did go to a surprise party for a friend. It wasn't that great. A couple got really drunk and decided to walk to the next town to see a gf. A little way out of town they realised what they were doing and called me. They'd forgotten their wallets and their drinks, and wanted me to pick someone up to go with them. Not all that interesting, but that's the short version. And now I'm sitting here, bored and listening to some music, trying to decide the best place to take a roadtrip on a budget. Whatever, until next time then.

  I have beaten DMD

  The old bastard in the final mission felt my punishment as I finally reached the end of DMD. What a thrill. I have super characters now. I don't think I've ever gotten through DMD in any DMC game. I've certainly tried. I failed against the first Nelo Angelo in DMC1, and got to mission 15 in DMC3. I didn't play DMC2 very much. I unlocked Trish and decided that was enough pain. DMC2 really was bad. I never believed the bad reviews until I played it myself. Yahoo DMD!
