  I'm not in the right state of mind,

  A few things:

  I'm 22. Yay! I turned the two-two on Sunday, and had a lot of not-so-wild drinking fun. It was just me and my best friend, drinking a flat of beer, watching movies and teaching me to play guitar. It was rad.

  Also, my car was stolen on Tuesday. I've been dealing with ICBC (car insurance in BC) and the police trying to get it back, but... I dunno if it's in the cards. There's still no word as to the whereabouts of my sexy red contraption.

  I was working at the time when it was stolen. If anyone knows Surrey, you'll know it's a sketchy place to say the least. I parked the car at 3:00, got out and mowed the lawns for twenty minutes. When I was done, my car was gone. Rain gear, which I bought for work a couple of days earlier, is gone. My GPS is gone. Golf clubs, iPod, cds... gone, gone, gone. Hopefully I get compensated accordingly.

  However... identity theft is my biggest concern right now.

  Thus ends a summer of bad luck. Yeesh, I was layed off twice, my girlfriend ditched me for Sweden, and my car was stolen. What can you do?

  That's rad.

  Bionic Commando is a wonderful thing. For starters, it's a good game. But how many games feature a character named "Rad(d)"? Seriously.

  Just for that, Bionic Commando gains a hundredty-billion cool points.

  Another billion if the upcoming sequel is any good.

  It's cool, dammit!

  A whole lot of something.

  Look at all these changes! Gamespot certainly is doing something to update their image, and while its a little cumbersome at the moment, I like it for the most part. The one thing I would change is the ability to see more than just three blogs at a time. I am happy that we're able to see union updates on our profile now.

  Speaking of changes, Giant Bomb is definitely a change of pace. I don't exactly know where I stand on the great Giant Bomb/Gamespot debate... I like the community driven aspect of Giant Bomb, but I don't believe its being implemented effectively yet. Like the Gamespot changes however, we are still in beta over here, so I hope everything will be fixed up with time. My profile over there is fuzzay and not CanadianEh. I just want to make that clear since it is much, much, much, much overdue.

  The past two weeks have been frustrating. I used to work as an Electrician, but the company I worked for is going through some tough times. As such, I was layed off. What's frustrating is it happened with no warning... I was actually getting in a groove, working my butt off in the nice warm weather. And then... I'm gone. What's annoying is I've committed to Vancouver through August. I can't really leave this place and go home until the end of August.

  But at least I can still afford rent.
