I cleaned out my game collection, got a new game, ate a baby and new review!

So first things first. My game collection (found in the Games tab above) consisted of every game I have ever rented/owned. No matter if I still had the game or not. Well I decided some changes were needed as I knew that it was fun to see if someone owned a game that you really loved so you could talk about it with them, so I cleared out the collection and kept in only the games that I still have at my house that I can play. You may see some new games in my collection such as The Magic School Bus Explores series that I found at the back of my cupboard from when I was a kid, and also a game that I have just bought....

That's right, and I it is great! Better than Halo: Combat Evolved? I can't say as the main reason I loved the first one was because of it's multiplayer and this I'll play the multiplayer when I buy the Xbox version of this as this is a friends and he needs it back next week. Anyway, I love it and the single-player is so much fun, especially the parts where you can play as the Arbiter! Again, I'm getting it for Xbox for multiplayer and also for co-op which should be awesome!

And now for my new review. First I'm just going to add the link to my one I did last week as it was hidden in my old blog netween two huge pictures: Jak 3 Review

And now for my new review of....

I got this for my brother. It's still an average game, but still good. Now my score may confuse people. I don't do things like GameSpot where 5.5 meens it's a bad game. 5.0 meens it was average. Neither that good, but it wasn't that bad either. Still an enjoyable game. 4.5 will meen that it is a bad game as it has bad graphics, flaws, broken gameplay. And anything below that meens that you just won't enjoy it. But 5.5 meens that it's an average game, but you will still enjoy if you may be a fan of the show/movie/comic. 6.0 will meen it's an allright game, worth a shot for a rental. 7.0 meens it's a good game that you should try out sometime. 8.0 will meen that it's a really great game you should definately have if you own the console. And 9.0 or above meens the game is absolutely fantastic and an absolutely must own.

Now for the actual review: Ben 10: Protector of Earth Review

    Wanted Movie Review

    Wanted

Hello and thank you in advanced for reading my review of Wanted starring James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman.

So you see the trailer and you think 'This looks AWESOME!'. The trailer is filled with so much awesome things that I hoped that the movie itself would have even cooler things than what were in the trailer. That my friends is where the movie failed. The trailer showed all the coolest things in the movie. There was probably one more thing in the movie that wasn't in the trailer that made me go 'Awesome!' but that's only one, and I can't forgive the movie for that. So I'll get back to this later, but first let's jump into the story.

The movie begins with poor, poor Wesley Gibson. He has a miserable job, he has close to no money, his boss hates him, his best friend is playing games with his girlfriend and he sleeps next to the train station. Until one day he goes to the pharmacy and Angelina Jolie (Fox) appears and tells him his father was an elite assassin. Wesley doesn't believe her until a rogue assassin named Cross appears and attempts to kill Wesley. Fox takes him to a place called The Fraternity where he spends weeks training his skills that he got from his father to become the next great assassin to kill the assassin who killed his father who was an assassin.

So there's a lot of assassinating to go on. But that comes later. The first quarter of the film is mostly introducing us to his miserable life and then the awesome resulting car chase and shootout that Fox and Cross have at the pharmacy and through the streets of Chicago. Now this action scene has most of the things that were put in the trailer. Which was dissapointing there was one other thing in there which made me go 'Awesome!' as I did mention before. But that's another dissapointing thing. The only other awesome part that wasn't in the trailer was in the first quarter of the movie. Usually you would expect these kind of movies to ramp up the action as they went on. That's what I expect at least.

The second quarter was him going through his training. Which was the part I most enjoyed in the film. It was cool watching him progress and to show how crazy these people really are and these are guys who mean buisness. This was also when we got to see Angelina get out of the bath. It's not frontal, but back...tal?....anyway moving on. Eventually we saw him go on his first assassination. Now, I also liked this part even though it lasted about twenty seconds, but I wished that we had much more of that in the movie. I wanted to see this guy go on other assassinations and watch them do cool stuff with the slow-mo that these guys had. But obviously all these guys crazy ideas were put in the first car chase, then they ran out.

The rest of the movie was pretty good. They got into the story more and answered the questions in my head like the history of the thread and such. They had some great shots and the director did a great job with all the action scenes. The one scene which I put a shot of above ^ is cool and they did a great job with it. I just wished that there was just more of it. Now the ending is almost as important as anything else, an ending can make the movie win or lose. Luckily the ending was good which was a lucky thing because at that point I didn't know how the movie was going to end but it was satisfying enough.

It's not wrong to go into a movie with high expectations, especially if it was because of the trailer that made you do so. The trailer was filled with so many cool action scenes that I just hoped that the movie had more. But the movie had more story than I expected and didn't really ramp up the action in any way that was unexpected. The movie was good though, watching him go through his training was pretty cool but it just didn't have the jaw-dropping action that the trailer made me expect.

So I wasn't dissapointed with the entire movie. It was still a good movie and it was made me want to sit through the rest of it to find out what happens but eventually I was realising that the best parts of the movie was the first half. The second half was still good, just not as good as the first and for a movie that marketed itself for an awesome action flick, it didn't really fill in that awesome I wanted that wasn't in the trailer.

I would still suggest you go see it on the big screen. It's still got some cool scenes and if you didn't see the trailer for some reason you will absolutely love it. Just like I absolutely loved the trailer.

    I give Wanted: 77%
