  Anoyance

  Im sick and tired of the friggin australian government not passing the R18+ rating on games in australia! I know as far as world issues go its not exactly up there but seriously! Whats the average age of games? Like 30+? When are they going to realise that it does not condone anything that isnt already getting through so much as helping parents make a more informed dessision about games to buy their children. After watching mothers by GTA and similar games for their small children and actually having to stop one lady from purchasing it simply because her grandson wanted it and had written it on his xmas wish list. I cannot begin to describe my anger when games i would like to play become banned or have to be changed for the sake of our pathetic ratings system. I am in the process of ordering games from overseas because i dont want my games adulterated. I spit on our ratings system and the way in which games are advertised and stocked within games stores. I am 29 and am old enough to make the definition between real and pretend, the 12 year old may have an easily peer swayed attitude and morels but i don't, all i want is to play left 4 dead 2 wit all its gore and grit that make the realism that may warp small children but will make me smile, escapism at its best. Please give me that freedom you tax me for!
