All About Crushmaster

Welcome to the wonderful world of an Independent Baptist Right-Wing Extremist...Yes, it is a very, very good world...
(Romans 10:8-10) - "But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; {9} That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. {10} For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

    A Revamp Of My Story.

Today's been a great day. I've been able to write...supper was good...everything's been going good. Also, on Sunday, at my church, a vistitor was saved!
Praise God! I'm working on a new version of Trapped, and here's what I've got so far:
    Prologue
The year is 2204. Man's ability to travel in space has risen drastically since 1969, when he first set foot on the moon. Space travel is almost as normal now as driving a car was then. Yes, a lot can happen in two hundred and thirty years.
The last seventy years have been hard ones for earth, as they have been riddled with war. Whether it was communists against capitalists, terrorists against Europe and America, or wars of superpowers against superpowers, war was everywhere. And, as such, space and the exploration thereof has been neglected...terribly neglected.
But this year brings new hope to earth, as an uneasy peace has been reached with all the nations of earth due to the efforts of the Alliance of Democratic Nations (A.D.N.)
To celebrate this peace, the Alliance came up with a solution for the problem of the lack of space exploration - a Project called: Intergalactic Space Expedition (I.S.E.)
The mission of I.S.E. is to help explore the places in space not yet traveled; a mission which would require a good ship and a good captain.
Finally, after much bickering and arguing amongst the leaders of the Alliance, both were found - in the form of an American ship called the U.S.S. Independence.
The Captain? Darren Parker, a 38-year-old, strong-willed and responsible young captain.
The crew? 700 people; including 150 security men, 35 scientists, 65 engineers, 50 doctors and medics, 50 gunners, 50 helmsmen, 75 pilots, 20 communications officers, 55 yeomen, and 150 basic crewmen.
This mission rests upon the shoulders of these people...and the A.D.N. is fully confident that they'll succeed.

    Chapter One: The U.S.S. Patriot.

Darren Parker sat in the captain's chair on the bridge of his ship, the U.S.S. Independence, staring out into the endless corners of space - something he did often when he was thinking or trying to make an important decision. After all, he did have a lot to think about.
He and his ship had been chosen out of two hundred others for this mission - the mission known as "Project: Intergalactic Space Expedition (I.S.E.)" - and it required a great deal of determination and loyalty.
Fortunately, both him and his men have that, and they treat this mission with the utmost care and responsibility.
As the Captain looked out at the various stars and planets (most of which had never even been seen by human eyes before), he thought of his wife and his son, who were back on earth.
Though he had only been on Project: I.S.E. for two months, he missed them terribly. Besides them, he missed many other of his friends back on earth, such as his pastor and his parents.
Sadly, he'll only get to see his family around three times a year, when the ship goes fairly close to earth to get resupplied. But, he's grateful to God for the time he'll get to have with them.
Nonetheless, he has many good friends on the ship, being he and the vast majority of the crewmembers are Christians.
Many of them, in fact, have become Christians sitting under the preaching of the Independence's chaplain, Timothy Reed, who holds services for the crewmembers three times a week.
Though Captain Parker's job does indeed come at a heavy price, he enjoys it, and handles it with extreme care and caution.
Suddenly, Captain Parker was snapped down at his thoughts, and looked at his watch. It read, "7:24 P.M."
"Time for me to call the officers to the Conference Room to tell them about our new assignment," the Captain thought. He then turned his chair to his right, so he was facing the communications board.
As usual, Communications Officer Lewis Jameson was sitting at the board, his headset resting softly on his light brown hair, with his usual calm expression on his face. He's as trustworthy as they come, and Captain Parker's glad to have him among his crew.
"Officer Lewis," began the captain, "please send a call through the ship calling all officers to the Conference Room. I need to inform them of a recent assignment." The Communications Officer, surprised, jumped in his chair, and it looked as though he almost fell out of it. A confused look on his face, he turned to completely face the Captain.
"What...what was that, Captain Parker?" Lewis asked, still shaken up. "You want me to call the officers to the Conference Room?" The Captain smiled, and nodded.
"...To inform them of our new assignment, yes." Officer Lewis cleared his throat, and tugged at his collar.
"Sorry about that, sir," he apologized. Captain Parker's smile widened.
"It's alright, Lewis," he assured the young officer. "Just be more alert next time, hmm?" Officer Lewis smiled.
"Yes sir, Captain." His orders now known, he turned back around in his chair, and began pushing various buttons on the communications board. Finally, he pushed a blinking yellow one - the intercom - and then began his message.
"Attention, all officers of the U.S.S. Independence. This is Officer Lewis speaking. By orders of the Captain, all of you are to report to the Council Room immediately. There, he will inform you of our new assignment. Officer Lewis, out." His message ended, Lewis pushed the intercom off, took off his headset, and turned around to the Captain, a curious expression on his face.
"Excuse me, Captain," he began, "what exactly is our new assignment? I wager it's something important, as you've been acting rather strange the last few days." The Captain smiled.
"Right you are, Lewis," he answered. His eyes then narrowed, and his smile faded. "It is important. Our job is to attempt to find a ship that's been missing for three months - the U.S.S. Patriot, to be exact." Lewis raised his eyebrows.
"...A ship that's been missing for three months, sir?" he queried. "Isn't that...kind of a lost hope?" The Captain shook his head.
"Perhaps," he admitted, "but it's not as impossible as it sounds. When you get a recording of the meeting later, it'll be a bit clearer." Officer Lewis shrugged.
"Until then, Captain," he began, "I'll take your word for it." Captain Parker smiled, got up out of his chair, and clapped Lewis on the shoulder.
"I've got to go to the meeting now," the Captain announced. "And I'm glad to have you on my crew, Lewis." The Communications Officer smiled.
"And I'm glad to be on it, sir," he said.
Any comments/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading, good night, and God bless.

    Time For A Blog Post.

Things have been going pretty good lately. God's been blessing, as He always is.
We had our fall activity today at church...That was pretty fun.

On Sunday, we had another event. Thanks to all who prayed for them.
I came up with a new book idea I'm going to try out...If it doesn't work, I think I may go back over to my science fiction idea.

Not much to blog about, but...here it is.

(Philippians 4:4) - "Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice."
This is a very short verse, but its meaning is powerful. It says, "Rejoice in the Lord alway". When? Always.
Not just when things are going great, but also when things are rough. Because, no matter what, we can always rejoice in one thing:
That we are Children of God. Heaven is our home, and our sins are washed away.

Thanks for reading, have a great night, and God bless.

Wow, It's Been A Long Time Since I've Done A Blog Post...

So, I guess I should do a new one. Things have been going pretty well lately...I was able to write a short story.
Sadly, my writing on my (sci-fi) story wasn't going very well, and I may have to turn to something else for a while.

Church has been going pretty well lately...The messages have been good. And, tommorrow, we have an event called "Friend Day" at our church (If anyone who's reading this could, please pray that it will go well, the people who were invited would come, and that souls would be saved)

So...overall...the Lord's been blessing lately. He is ever good and gracious.

(2 Corinthians 5:17) - "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
How true that verse is. When Christ lives inside us, we are indeed a new creature.

God bless, and have a great day.
