  ellegarden o' rific

  Well I finished up Bioshock this week... I guess I was pretty impressed with the game overall, I mean... I think it could have used a few more cinematics, but other than that it was pretty solid. I really enjoyed the story, and the graphics were really gorgeous.

  In other news, I'm finally back in Japan from our summer cruise. Meh, it's really great to be back that's for sure, I'll probably head out to tokyo this weekend and make a few purchases out in Akihabara... I'm thinking some new graphics cards may be in order... we shall see.

  Well now that I'm back I'll definately be trying to update a lot more frequently. I've got to run now though if I want to catch the 1 o'clock train. May the force be with you.

  External enclosure drama

  Well the other day I disassembled my enclosure for my external HD, it had been overheating and causing me no end of irritations. After partially disassembling it, I hooked it back up and proceeded to transfer files over to my new 500gig hdd, after a while though, the external enclosure shifted shorting itself out to the chasis of the case 0.o, in most cases this wouldn't be too major of an issue, the usb controller would detect that a device was drawing too much current and disable the port, but due to the stellar performace of the controllers for the Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe, no such disable took place, leaving me out a motherboard /sob. At any rate, lesson learned, and fortunately it was only my motherboard that took a beating it could have been a much more pricey lesson if it had been my cpu or gpu.

  It would appear the force was with me, so at any rate I'm off to kill some imperials ^_^
