  Rock You Like A Hurricane

  Fitting title if you watch The Weather Channel like I do and now in HD...awesome! As I write this I am wondering if the remnants of Hanna will KO my power today/tonight. I am prepared...my PSP and DS are fully charged Yes, I admit I am a weather geek and always have been as long as I can remember. It has always fascinated me. I started watching The Weather Channel back in the early 80's when I got my first VCR. I grew up with a *gasp* 20 inch black and white tv and 13 total channels. Never had a color TV till I moved out when I was 18. That VCR opened up so many more channels for me at that time that it was like heaven. I even got to finally watch MTV that everybody was bragging about (before they went to **** I would say late 80's/very early 90's)so yes to all the youngins out there MTV was one time all about music videos and not all this reality crap. I hope you enjoyed MY trip down memory lane! Well if I am not around later you know why!

  Distant Early Warning

  I feel sorry for all you users that got nailed by Katrina as it appears Gustav may work havoc upon you all yet again. Hopefully most of you can't read this if you live there and evacuated already.

  In other news, I returned from vacation yesterday even though "technically" I don't have to report back to work till Tuesday the 2nd. I am taking this 4 day work week to get caught up on all the work I missed. I am sure 2 huge threads are waiting on me here--one visible to you all and one not. speaking of the visible one--- I see a user went berserk in the missing game thread by making a post per game to be added He/she probably didn't know better. Then I also have all the mags that piled up to add to GR and my normal GR work. Fun, fun, fun! OK, maybe not all of it.

  Here I go Again / I Can't Drive 55

  Well I couldn't decide between these 2 titles as both fit. Here I go again as in my yearly vacation has come again albeit a month later than usual. Also, I can't drive 55 as in I won't be driving 55 later tonight. *Fact--When Sammy performs that song live he substitutes 65 for 55.

  2 weeks which likely will blow by in a blink of an eye! I know any changes taking place on the profile takes forever to show up so I am guessing it may be a few hours before this blog shows up. I will say Asta la bye-bye now as I will likely be sleeping when this goes live.
