    Windows Vista

I am pleased to see Windows Vista is mostly accepted by the world as of now. Many people are of course still afraid of change, but they cannot press against the winds forever. Vista brings a revitalized experience to Windows, and to PC, allowing Microsoft to continue their dominion of the operating system lands.

There are still many peopel that fail to understand, with foolish mutterings such as, "Vista uses too many resources", or "Vista needs to have all it's bugs worked out", and my favorite, "Vista doesn't work with anything." These are very much incorrect, as Vista manages resources better than XP, it simply requires a few more to do so. It is already more stable and secure than XP straight out the gates. And of course, the Vista doesn't work with anything is garbage, most major companies have already have their equipment working with Vista, and I've noticed many speciality softwares and hardware company's are working on patches and nearly done. Plus, Microsoft gives an upgrade advisor that tells you what works with it, and what doesn't! I am gad I work in an enviroment where I can show people the error of those with the often louder voices.

Vista brings many things, but though I love the instant-search, I look forward to DirectX10 the most. It's ability to use Virtual Memory as a low level graphics memory is incredible, as many hard drives are as large as 500GB stock, even from mainstream companies, just giving Windows 100GB of that, and perhaps 4GB of Flash memory would drastically improve overall gaming experience, with a DirectX 10 card, you would of course also have at least 640MB of High performance Gaming Memory, hopfully 768MB, or even 1.5GB. The capabilities are amazing, and nearly unlimited.
