In the beginning, it had a lovely user interface that is nicely organised and aesthetically pleasing. It just felt like the centre of games.

Now... Microsoft decided to screw things up and changed it to this disaster.

My simple question is, why the hell did Microsoft do this? As a result, the Xbox 360 is now more of a casual & media console than it used to be... It seems that Microsoft have lost their plot. The Xbox 360 is a gaming console. I don't think Microsoft understood this.

And THIS DISASTER! A bloody disaster that almost crashed the gaming industry!

It's upsetting to imagine how it just blew all good games away. This is why many people are saying that the 360 has no games. Microsoft has shifted their focus on shovelware and casual gamers.

Another thing...

Why... Why the hell would Microsoft charge players for online gaming when Steam and PSN does it for free? Steam and PSN are also as superior as Xbox Live. What are people paying Xbox Live for? I don't know. Maybe a couple of useless features that nobody is using. Wonderful Microsoft, you're the sunshine of the gaming industry... NOT.

Poor hardware quality.

Also lol at DVD drive. Lol at battery bollocks at the bottom of the controller. I've had a lot of issues with the 360 accessories, they all are faulty. Even the analog sticks on my controller doesn't return back to the centre normally.

I've had the RROD 4 times this generation as well as the crippling E74 error. I bought two Xbox 360's at launch back in 2005, and these days my 360's get played only when exclusives release. I can't change hardware anymore.

I do have one 360s, but I baby it just in case. I hope they learn their lesson for the 720.

The paying for online does suck, especially knowing they make millions, probably billions on advertising on the dashboard.

While I don't think the 360 is a bad console, it is certainly disappointing compared to the other 2 consoles on the market. My biggest problem with my 360 was the hard ware problems and paying for online. I just didn't see the point in buying games for a product that is unreliable.

That being said, the 360 has a great library of games. But I'm not really a fan of it's exclusives except for Gears and Witcher 2, so the 360 doesn't really offer much for me. I honestly feel that main reason people went with 360 this gen was because they lacked the money necessary to get a PS3 at the time, and they lack the money to afford a second console now.

Hopefully MicroSoft will learn from their mistakes next gen. But this is all just my personal opinion, I know plenty of people who are happy with their 360. And some of them own all consoles and still prefer their 360, it's all completely subjective.
