  Watching the Euro Cup final, Coming home, DIABLO?

  So, watching the Euro Cup final between Germany and Spain. Well, since my two favorite teams, France and Russia got knocked out, I'm really an impartial viewer now, lol.

  It was a good game. It was well played there was lots of action, but it missed the WOW factor that the Turkey games had. Overall, I felt the game lacked tension. Yeah, it had that minor excitement of "Is Germany gonna score and make a comeback?" but there never really was any realization. I mean, it wasn't like the Turkish games where they play, and I'm going OMG! HOW'D THEY DO THAT?!? Granted, those games were awesome, but this game was lacking.

  So there was a 1-0 Spanish win, lots of attempts and near goals, but the game was mostly one-sided for Spain, all the best attempts were theirs, and it was mostly a game of good passing played at the midfield.

  On that note: Congrats Spain.

  Oh yeah, and I'm coming home now and will be able to do more things. As it is, the "reunion" I went to mostly involved watching NASCAR. I hate racing, so I read Gamespot and played Runescape a lot more than I thought I would, while everyone watched the racing.

  There's also the fact that while I was here, the news about Diablo 3 came out! Man, I need to get that XP I bought on my computer soon. Need to catch up and get the other Diablo's. lol! The game looks awesome. I hope the game specs are relatively lower, so I don't have to upgrade, but still looks great! and I hope it's not cartoony like WoW.

  Visiting Family and Euro Cup '08

  So, I'm out visiting Family in Iowa. It's kinda fun-when we're doing things. right now, it's kinda slow. the early morning and late afternoons are boring, since we don't do anything. So, all I can really do is play Runescape on my laptop, working 99 fishing, 1 million xp away. I'm also checking gamespot while I do that.

  Looking forward to see the Germany-Spain Final in Euro Cup 2008. They're the opposite teams that I wanted in the Final. I really wanted a Turkey-Russia game, but it's all good. It'll still be a good game.

  The Russia game was kinda dissapointing for me. The spainish shut down Russia Exactly like the did in the first game. Any other team, Russia destroys. but the Spaniards, that's a different story. 3-0 ownage from Spain. Oh well. Anyways, I really want to see the Final, even if my family doesn't. I'll just watch it on my laptop if I have to.

  Wow Turkey!

  *Warnin, if you haven't seen the match, don't read this*

  So, the Turkey Vs. Germany match. It was great. They didn't win, but they played so much better than what they were predicted to. They played hard. For the whole first half, they dominated. They scored first, but allowed a goal soon after. Then half-time happened. Germany came out and played hard. Then the TV signal cut out world wide, pissing all soccer fans off real bad. When the signal came back, nothing happened, so it was all good right? wrong! The TV signal cut out again!

  This time, the best action of the game happened. Both teams score, with Turkey miraculously coming back to tie the game just as Signal came back on. So another Turkish miracle? Nope sorry. Apparently the Germans decided to copy the Turks, and scored 3 minutes after the Turks score. 3-2 Germany. It wasn't meant to be. 4 games in a row is too much. Heck 2 games in a row is too much. So congratulations Turkey, you proved that you're an awesome opponent, and while you lost, you really are a truly powerful team.

  If you see a recap on ESPN, or any network for that matter, then pay attention to the emotion the announcers show at the highlights. They didn't even see it live. Nobody except the people in Switzerland did. So I laugh when they pretend to have seen it all. lol!
