  Okay, that's it. I've had enough

  Disgaea is going back. I can't take it anymore. I'll stick to playing the old series and wait for the DS port.

  I'm also disappointed with Too Human. Yes, I know it's going to be a trilogy, but if I don't like it now, why bother waiting for the rest of it?

  Still Disgaea

  I've been mostly spending time in the item world which has been entertaining. I don't really pay too much attention to the story and skip it every chance I get. I will mention that the broken game system all this is about, is the SlayStation Portable. Yeah.

  I look forward to Friday. I'm going to play miniature golf with a new co-worker and also probably pick up a few DS games. I pre-ordered Force Unleashed, but am not positive I'm going to purchase it. It looks awesome and the demo was entertaining, I'm just unsure if it will last. Dragon Quest 4 on DS is also coming soon. I'm really looking forward to that!

  The DS games I might pick up Friday include: N+, Trace Memory, Tetris DS, Elite Beat Agents, Lost Magic, and Civilization.

  Disgaea 3 Updates

  Well, I've been happily hunting most of the time I've been playing this evening, mostly to get better equipment but also since this game is notorious for hunting.

  As for this dreadful story, the only reason you want you father deead is because he "trampled and crushed my precious game system and all of my games!" That, and you spent 4 million hours on it and lost your saves... I can't believe I paid over $40 on a game whose story stems from that. Also, he becomes a hero simply by stealing the title of a real hero which does strange things to him, like momentary politeness. The hero he stole it from was given a title of "demon-in-training" which also affects him in more of the opposite manner. *shakes head*

  I also have problems with the references to it being a video game and you, the player. The main character Mao compares a ton of stuff to a game, and other characters make comments on everything being a game and some even reference you, the player. If my imagination could get into the spirit of things and/or these weird digital demons were real, I'd pop this disc in the microwave for about 6 seconds and do the world a favor. Ugh.

  And as I presumed, I enjoy the mechanics of the game. The story ruins my fun every time I advance the plot, but I'm quite happy battling away and doing all the strategy rpg gruntwork. *sigh* I may have to scrap the RPGs I'm plugging through on my DS and wreck Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced 2.
