Why so serious?

  Update & most frustrating gaming moment?

  First off, Glitchspot has been bugging me recently. I've been trying to put a new banner and avatar up for the past 2 days and nothing is happening, any suggestions?

  In gaming I've been playing the new games I got a week ago, de Blob, and Super Mario RPG. I just got the second star in SMRPG, and I'm on the seventh level in de Blob which is called Hanging Gardens. De Blob just keeps getting better and better. I thought the game was to easy at first but it gets harder, with more puzzles and platforming elements as you progress

  I have a question for everyone. What is your most frustrating gaming moment ever? What was the game you were playing and why did you get so mad at it? Did you get so mad at the game that you through the controller at the TV? Did you unplug your console, throw it on the road, and run it over with a car? Did you Flush your game down the toilet? Did you punch the person playing next to you in the face? Or did you just cry yourself to sleep....... Whatever your story is leave a comment and share it if you want

  De Blob + more games

  So I got de Blob yesterday and I think it's very fun and unique At first when I started up the game it had a funny little cut-scene which gives you the basic story line of the whole game: it's just a jolly fun filled city full of color when randomly these INKT corporation dudes come outa no where and suck all the color out of the city and the raydians. (the city locals) The INKT corporation say "color is a crime" so I guess that's why they are taking all the color out of the city. So de Blob is this blob you use to restore all the color back into the city. That's the basic concept.

  So far the gameplay has been very fun. When I first started a level everything was totally black and white. To restore the color there was these paintbots which are robots that have color in them, so it was as simple a locking on to them and swinging my Wii remote down to smash it and take its paint. Then I started painting the world. What I love about this game is the music. When I started the first level I could select the mood of music I wanted such as: blissful and funky. Those are what I had at first but as the game progressed I got a lot more music moods. So back to gameplay. In the beginning of the level when their is no color their is practically no music, but once you paint your first building/tree/rock ect. you will here and instrument start to play. The more you paint the louder and more complicated the music gets, and each type of paint gives a different sound/instrument, for example: when I had the blissful mood on I painted a building red and some voices came in saying "wow ow ooo bebe" lol stuff like that. Then I got orange (mixing yellow with red to get it) and started painting and a jazzy saxophone came in, and with yellow a flute started playing ect. so I really like that element in the game. There are also these guys called the revolutionaries that help you out and give you information in the levels. They also give you challenges like painting building certain colors before time runs out, and transforming buildings by getting a certain number of paint points, locking onto the building and shaking the wii remote and nunchuck to transform it. There are other challenges too.

  There is also a party mode which is a multi-player mode up to four players. There is 3 different types of games styles: paint match, blob on the run, and blob race. They are a lot of fun to play but I think the only problem is that there is only one way to play the game, with the Wii remote and nunchuck, so that means I would need 4 Wii remotes and 4 nunchucks if I wanted to play with 4 players.... geeezz I only have 2 Wii remotes and 2 nunchucks but it's still fun with 2 players.

  So overall I really like this game, and in my opinion it's a good solid third party Wii game. I recommend you buy or at least rent this game, it will add something new and fun to your Wii collection

  There is another thing I have to say..... I got Super Mario RPG!!!! I'm speachless....... I've always loved this game and it will always hold a special place in my heart that's all I have to say

  
  And I know Wario Land Shake It came out the same day as de Blob, I'm planning on getting it eventually or maybe renting it, depends, but for now I'm enjoying de Blob, maybe if the price drops I'll get it then.... And if any of you have it already can you tell me your thoughts on it? Also if you have megaman 9 please tell me your thoughts on that too, lol, because that's another game I think I might want

  and believe it or not, there is yet another game that came out (today) that has my interest: LEGO Batman. Batman is one of my favorite characters of all time and anything to do with him I want This is so over whelming! to many games! and that was just some games that came out within 2 days.... wow.... I'm in trouble...

  The Simple days

  I was just thinking... remember the good ol' days when we were so exited to pick up the controller and *bop* a few goomba's on the head? Such great times weren't they? Sometimes I just wish it would go back to that. It was so simple back then, not all complex like now days. With all these different "things" that us gamers have developed like: Hardcore gamers, and casual gamers, and all these different ideas of what actually makes a game good, and fanboys and all that stuff. Sometimes I just get tired of all that, like "now I have to study a game inside out like it was a school project before I actually decide to get the game, and it might just turn out to be crap," for me it seems to ruin the fun of the game a little. In the days when I was about 4 feet tall, I didn't care for any of that stuff, I would just be so exited to get a controller in my hand and play! After all, isn't video games for fun? I don't want to make a profession about it, (though some of us might you never know) and debate about how much better "this game is then that game" or how much "this console is better then that console." We all have different tastes; it's good to discuss your opinion and get you points across, but that's where it should stop. I hate seeing fanboys fighting over stuff like: "PS3 has better graphics then 360 so go f*ck yourself" when I see that I think, *these guys forgot what video games are all about* it's about fun, not fighting, I do like a a good discussion and a little friendly competition, but that's just over done. Also, in a sense, we are more spoiled these days, with all these options we have, and stuff like: "if the graphics aren't like a movie then the game is going to suck," that just doesn't make any sense. Well I hope I'm not confusing anyone, my mind is just kinda floating with these thoughts right now, just thought I would share them with you
