  The truth about WOW

  So a friend of mine got two WOW battlechests for his birthday and rather than return one, he gave it to me. It took me four years to finally play the game, and I was really excited because I was playing the full game for free for a month. But I didn't catch the bug. I was so worried about the game controling my life like some others had done but I just didn't get it. I understand why people are so hucked on WOW, but not me. I enjoy RPGs just as much as the next person, but it was all the same. The only thing I felt was the drive to better my character but that didn't last long. So I just uninstalled the game, and who knows I might reinstall it, but as far as I can tell I did not catch the WOW bug. That doesn't mean it is not a great game, but for some reason the Gods smilled on me and allowed me to walk away without much damage. I know no one is going to read this, so its impact on the wider world will not be felt, but I had to tell someone. Part of me even feels like I failed, for some reason I did not understand the game and failed. Whatever, my willpower prevailed.

  A few days later I reinstalled it on my computer and decided to be a night elf druid. This was it, I found the class that I liked the best. But now at level 21, after my first instance, and seeing how pissed off people get I'm truly done. This was not what I wanted, and I think it's crap. So I came, I liked, and I left, and i didn't have to pay anything to do it either.
