  Dragon Age: Origins (Update)

  I was a bit hastey in my assesment of Dragon Age and it being on rails. It has opened up quite nicely and I am enjoying it immensley. The game, so far, is very well done. The combat is GREAT!!! Tactics really do play a role here, so if you just run in and "hack'n'slash", you will die!! Use the pause feature and plan your fights carefully. It really does go a long way in leading you to victory.

  Fort Hood Shooting

  Dragon Age: Origins

  So...I just received Dragon Age: Origins for the PC yesterday and I must say, I'm impressed. The production values are "hollywood-esque" and it really draws you into the story. I'm only a couple hours in (maybe2 to 3hours) and I am having fun.

  However, the game definately seems to be linear so far and by linear, I mean ON RAILS!!! I hope the whole game isn't like this. I hope that it opens up soon.

  Anyone out there know the answer to this without spoilers?
