What games do I feel are underrated? Here's the list:
1. Legend of Dragoon (Playstation)- My favorite RPG of all time hands down. The story was one of the best in gaming history, giving you plot twists left and right that would put M. Night to shame. I'll admit that the world was linear, and that the inventory system was terrible, but the battle system was unique at the time, something that no other RPG did, and with a good lengthy main quest, it was a nice game to start off my original Playstation collection with.
2. Timeshift (Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC)- When I read the Gameinformer review on this game, I was turned off by the mentioning of this game freezing up from time to time. However, when I went to a Gamestop looking for The Thing, I noticed that it was Gamers Day, and that this game was marked down to $20, so I figured what the hell? Picked it up, brought it home, and slapped it in my 360. From the reviews I read, I found this game to be much better that I previously thought. Of course the multiplayer sucked, and the campaign wasn't too long, but I found it to be a solid shooter that had some interesting moments to it. It isn't a perfect game, don't get me wrong on that, but it did satisfy me and I felt that I got my money's worth out of it.
3. Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 (Playstation 2)- I'm a DBZ fan, been watching the show since I could remember. I bought the first Tenkaichi and thought it was alright, but liked the other Budokai games better. Back in my Sophmore year of highschool, I picked the sequel up, and I didn't go to be until 4 in the morning because of it. The fighting was improved and more fast paced, the little annoying parts of the game were fixed, such as low health, and the controls...well, they remained the same. With in game transformations and the biggest roster of DBZ characters at the time, I thought it was a fantastically built sequel, and to this day remains my favorite DBZ game, and I cannot wait to pick up Tenkaichi 3 sometime soon.
4. Killzone (Playstation 2)- Yes, I did enjoy Killzone. Nothing near a Halo killer, but I picked up the game when it came down to $20, played it for a few hours, and I thought to myself, this isn'ttoo bad. Nothing near perfect, but it was a good first attempt at a new shooter. Parts of the game annoyed me to all hell, but when I finally beat it, I didn't think it was all that bad.
5. Medal of Honor Airborne (Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC)- I love the Medal of Honor series, and after Christmas, I picked this up, figuring that it would be fun for a bit. I was wrong, it was fun for a long time. The multiplayer lacks badly, but I enjoyed it anyway. The graphics were well done, and after European Assault (I enjoyed it also), I felt that this Medal of Honor game was the closest thing on a consol that made me feel like I did when I played Frontline again. The game is short, but I found that it had a lot of replay value for me. Not perfect, but I was pleased.
Why am I doing this? ...no idea.

Next week marks the 1 month mark of my 360 breaking. Of course, when I get it back, I'll have the fear of it breaking again. However, since then, I've gone back to my Xbox and my PS2, and well...it's something I won't forget. Have you ever played a game through once, and pick it up sometime later and realize that it's still amazing to you? In my instance, the Knights of the Old Republic games. I bought those way back in the summer of 2005, played them through each once, and loved them. I didn't play them since until now, and I'm floored by how those old games still hold up today. Since then, I've been playing all of my old games which I haven't touched in months, like Shadow of the Colossus, and have bought new games for my old Xbox, such as Area 51 and Brothers in Arms: Hill to Hill 30. Here's the kicker though, all old good games, are cheap now. I got Area 51 and Brothers in Arms for less than $15 combined, and I saw Crimson Skies for a whoping $3.99. I don't know about you, but I played the demo of that game and loved it.
Another thing I noticed is graphics. And by that, I mean I think of when people say that a next gen game looks like an old gen game (EX: Halo 2.5). I'm not going to go on a long rant, but if you really look at the graphics of a next gen game and a last gen game, you can tell the small differences that make a game last gen (jagged edges, v-sync, etc, etc).
