  Why do people slate Hack & Slash for being 'repetetive', but praise sports g

  Does the guy who reviews the Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors games just hate hack & slash games? Or does he just not like games being repetetive unless its a sports title?

  Someone pointed out to me Gamespots review for Warriors Orochi, reviewed by Alex Navarro. Looking at his other reviews, the only Dynasty/Samurai Warriors games he game a 'decent' review to was DW5 - Empires, for adding a hint of strategy to the series.
  But after that, he slates all the other games for being exactly the same and adding nothing new to the series. Now tell me gamespot, do you give all the games that arent 'big' to people who hate that genre? Because this guy slates these games for being nothing but the same, and being repetetive, yet he absolutely seems to adore sports titles, now when has a sports game sequal reinvented the genre, when has it not just updated the roster and tweaked the gameplay? Because its doing exactly the same thing as the Hack & Slash genre, making money by bring out the same game with a few extras over and over.

  While im not a hating man, but do you think you could get a reviewer who at least likes the game, or someone neutral instead of just letting the same guy review it over and over despite the fact they are biased against it? Perhaps then we would get some proper reviews (like that would ever happen)

  As the PS3 gets readt to break into Europe, whats my opinion on next-gen?

  Well, the 360 has been out well over a year, the Wii has came out in force and as I write this, Sony have begun showing off the PS3 over Europe in gaming stores to try and wow the gaming crowd.

  Unfortunately, the next level on console gaming feels a little lack-luster to me.  Here is my opinion on the 'next-generation' of console gaming.

  XBOX360
  Well, after a year without any next-gen compotition, the 360 has managed to have a nice time by itself.
  There have already been some great games on the 360, such as Oblivion and Dead Rising to name a couple, and they are great games really...

  But unfortunately, the 360 hasnt really been able to keep me that interested for long amounts of time, just the odd all-nighter when a game I thought was big came out.
  But theres still a huge amount of shooters and racers there that seem to overcrowd the other genres, and even though its finally getting support from japan, I just dont find myself playing this console as much as I thought I would be right now.

  Wii
  Well, the Wii is certainly innovative, I'll give them that.  And the whole virtual console idea is great.  Nintendo did definately prove they can change how games are played.

  But, there just isnt many games that are grabbing my attention that much.  Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3 are looking good, but they are ages away right now.
  There just seems to be too much of a gap between the big-games right now that I'm surprised people arent using the name to chant a taunt of 'Why are Wii waiting?'

  PS3
  Well, what is there to say, as I havent played this yet and only have videos and reviews to tell me anything about this console.

  I guess the first thing I should say, after watching some kids playing the PS3 at my local gamestore, is so much the the 'true' next-gen graphics that sony claimed would out-****the 360.
  Even on a HDTV, what ive seen from the actual games is about equal to what the 360 has been able to provide.
  Also, like the 360 launch, there isnt really a great set of launch titles to sink your teeth into.

  Even igonring the issues sony have had with the european launch and the changes to the console (Downgraded console = Same price as before, is not right) there just isnt enough right now to grab my attention for this console, just some rather poor previews of 'big games' coming that dont look like they should have been previewed yet.
  Although FF13 and MGS4 do look good, just not good enough to make me want to buy the console now.

  ...

  Well, looks like I'll be sticking with my PS2 and my DS for the time being, because unless things really start improving this year, I guess that I'll be sticking what will probably be considered a 'retro' console.

  'n00b eaters' grammer police or whining children?

  I recently caught this mistake someone made as they were trying to 'correct' someone who doesnt speak english as their primary language.

  There is no E in HER, unless you want to spell HERE.
  Two different words. Learn to spell.

  Now, if you ever sig this and iclude the persons name, be warned, they will scream at you like a little baby for doing this.
  Sure, they may ask you politely to remove the sig.  But not without shouting at everyone who has laughed at them.

  What really gets me is that most people who get quoted for a mistake like this would just laugh it off, seeing that someone caught them out.

  But for a 'n00b hunter' as this guy likes to call himself.  He doesnt seem to like being caught out.
  Even better?  The fact that he claims he will have everyone suspended and that the mods will ignore his trolling.

  So, I'll say now, be careful when you catch someone out who made a spelling mistake, ask yourself if you want to have someone on your back telling you to get a life when they are so stuck up in this little problem, they forget about their own.
