  Ginseng&rasberries, Wednesdays, and a bit o' somethin else

  Well, things are finally winding down. My days of boredome, complacency, and desperation are about to be over. This wednesday I leave for Virginia, and then I will finally be able to buy myself a new PS2. Ahh.. I can't wait to just sit down and seriously game again, it feels good just thinking about it.

  So anywho now would be a great time to give a "gaming update", but quite frankly there's been pretty much none-nothing to write about anyway.

  So this is a bit random, but do you guys have some sort of "power" food that you eat whenever you play games? What I mean is, is there some sorta food out there that compliments your gaming experience? That helps you "savor" the game and take notice what is going on? okay so for me it's Twizzlers and Mountan Dew, preferrably the ginseng/rasberry/citrus flavored one. I had to ask.

  Haha now that I got that out of the way- My buddy is starting up a union, and he could really use some charter members...as I'm currently the only one. So, could you please do me a huge favor and be a charter member? Basically it will be a shooter and RPG union, and if your curious about it just ask away, but I probably won't be able to help. It would probably be best if you could stop by Dude's profile and let him know that you're interested. You wouldn't mind tracking him too, would you?

  And umm, I guess that's just about it. I'll be back the following monday, so expect an update blog then, but untill then I'll have internet untill wednesday. So how've you been? What's new?

  'Bout time for one of these.... and no more union trouble.

  I figured it's been a while since the last time I posted, so here I am.
  The gaming couldnt be any more (slightly) above mediocre. I'm replaying Knights of The Old Republic, and i'm playing through Warcraft 3. So yah although KOTOR is my all time favorite game, it's just not the same compared to other games I am used to playing. I really want to play Metal Gear Solid 2, and I can't wait to pick up Shadow Hearts again, but untill I can get a new PS2 I'm stuck with PC and Xbox. I believe I'll be heading up to Virginia for about 5 days, so when I'm there I'll be able to pick up a PS2, and finally be able to become my old, videogame-obsessed self[s]

  Also..just stating the obvious that we're getting close to halfway through the semester, so I guess that's one thing to be happy about. whee.

  Ah yes- and all thanks to my pals DraconigenaDeus and Freya, I am no longer in my cycle of union apathy, so thanks guys! It's been too long since I've been in a good ol' "healthy" union, kindu reminds me of the Square Enix Experience's good ol' days. Ha to be honest I actually went through a bit of 'culture shock' when I first visitid The RPG Temple, but now I think it's safe to say I've adjusted.

  My PS2 = No Funciona!!! (following spanish-trend.)

  Ha, I couldnt resist following the spanish-title trend (which, fyi, I am near-fluent in spanish [took spanish5 2 years ago] ). I'm also sorry for the frequent blog posts...if that's a bad thing in your book.

  So any ways, lemme give you all a re-cap of what all has happened to my PS2. Bout 5 weeks a go I noticed taht my PS2 was scratching discs...bad. Ha funny thing is, I was so desperate to beat Xenosaga episode1 that I even bought 3 copies of the game! It's a relief to know that the game is somewhat common, and cheap, so it really only added up to about 30-40 dollars for all three. After I beat the game, I took off the top to my PS2 and sprayed it all out with can'd air, and swiped it down with cotton swabs and vaseline. My PS2 worked perfectly for about 2 weeks...until now. I noticed that when I took the top of my PS2 off, two of the screw-caps were missing, I guess because the person who owned my playstation before I did took it apart aswell. Yay. Yesterday I noticed faint 'perfect' scratches on my Shadow Hearts disc- uh-oh!! So, instead of buying 2-3 more copies of shadow hearts..which would cost more than double of Xenosaga, I might aswell buy a new (NEW, not used...last time i buy a used console) PS2. Yah I'll just go to the city's largest game market and sell my PS2 to some stand where they can actually repair it... and while I'm at it I'll try to find FF9. Then I guess I'll just go to Sanborns or Game Planet for the new console...yah. Life sucks.

  So untill then, I'll be playing my xbox- I'm thinking of either Knights of The Old Republic or Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time untill further notice.
