System Wars: Rules of Engagement
When entering System Wars, you will see that it isn't like any other forums. System wars is a warzone. Words like "ownage" or "flop" are the munitions of war. Published news in favour of a system are the work force in building your military might. And that submit button is your nuclear missile ignition button. You might miss, you might hit, you might even hit your own people, but it is a warzone after all.
Here are the rules of engagement inf System Wars.
1) Know your allegiance. Know if you are aligned with Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, or the PC.
2) Post with assurance. Know your information well before posting, check your links and read thoroughly. There are times where you might slip up, but you may score big in hitting the opponent where it hurts.
3) Never post without nothing to say. Take every oppurtunity to fire some ammo because a blown oppurtunity is a missed chance.
4) Never flame. The opposing trolls are trying to draw you out to an opening with a trap. Instead of insulting them straight on, just make their post look stupid. For example, if a troll starts to bash an unreleased game, then "Your post is stupid and ignroant" can become "I guess you missed the fact that the game isn't released yet. Unless all the game you like that hadn't released are just as worse."
5) REPORT REPORT REPORT! Take no mercy against anything that is remotely annoying. Report it. Flush out the opponent! It's obvious the moderators had taken sides. Their favourable threads continue while their opposed threads are closed. Take no mercy in order to balance the power.
6) Know your allies. Don't report against a known user that is in your allegiance. Sometimes they might say something against their own system, but the majority of the time they will be against the others.
7) Defend your allies unless they set themself to lose. There will be a lot of losers on your side. The people who would say the most obviously stupid things to be destroyed. But for the users who have good things to say, help them out even if it's just a post saying, "I agree with everything you said."
Things to know about the warzone.
Troll Bait - These are definitely annoying and sometimes, because moderators are unfair, they will continue to exist. To know what is a bait, the most obvious annoyance is there. They will bash directly, calling something you like blatantly horrible. For example, if you like Metal Gear, they will say, "metal gere is horribel Its rehash. kdiddy storie!" Do not engage with anger! Thoroughly own with facts and perfect grammar. Most likely, this will draw out more trolling and you can report them.
Manticores - These are non-existant beings in System Wars. One who likes everything has no purpose in system wars. They just say the most obvious thing which is, "I own all systems so I get to enjoy everything." You can just ignore them like their post aren't even there.
Fakeboys - These people will switch sides or pretend to be allied with you. It is up to you if you want to report them or not. But as long as they post in favour for you, defend their OP. As long as the crosshair isn't on you, who cares, right?
