This blog title sucks... I have to say...Most of you are probably like OMG did he get in a car accident on the way??? or OMG did he run into crocodiles along the way??? or just...OMG!!!!!!! So I'm sorry to say this blog title relates to no awesome story...Just my frantic search for the game. Anyways, moving on...
I got the World Ends With You (if you didn't know by now
). It is a fantastic game, but I really don't feel like talking about it at the moment, because I don't feel as though I've diven deep enough into the game...or something like that. I just need to spend some more time playing before I give off my impressions of it. The controls were said to be hard at first, and they were indeed...Especially hard enough for me since I had to use a pen cap instead of my stylus. So yeah, hard stuff. Despite that, the game rocks. But I hate the main character (I a$$ume he is anyway). He acts like a brat, not a teenager
. He even acts this way to a dude who has like 5 times the amount of muscle he does
. But I guess I'd go loco if that happened to me (won't get into the whole story in this blog)...Speaking of stories...I had to go through a bunch of stuff to get this game
.
It first started off with me just glancing at all of the DS titles available at the Gamespot or Eb I was in. Out of the 6 I looked in, none of them had it. Today I went to two of them and asked...both said no. Then I went to Circuit City and searched through all of the games there...only not to find it. Finally, Best Buy had it. Three copies in fact
. So I reluctantly grabbed one and bought it. Sweet. The tenth store I checked out had it...the last of the 4 today
. So yeah, cool beans.
It is just resting on my desk, ready to be played...So yeah. See ya

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

I have heard fantastic things about this game, and I really enjoyed the little I got to play this series. Whether I'm watching this game, reading a few reviews, or hearing the constant raving from friends, this game has been praised. The predicament I face is obvious: I don't have a PS3. I'm not counting (or waiting) on a release on the Xbox 360, so I just have to skip out on this game, sadly. I will not getting a PS3, let alone just for one game. However, there is always a possibility that I can borrow one and play this masterpiece of a game. Until then, I have no chance of playing this game...

Thankfully, MGS4 is pretty much the only game I flat out can't get. But of course, there are some great games that I really want and can have
The World Ends With You

I keep telling myself to get this game once I get the chance, but to be honest, I haven't really kept a keen eye out for it. I probably will eventually purchase it. I really want it since my DS has no action at the moment (though it will in the near future). Plus, this game has often been acclaimed as the "best DS game ever." Not that I generally go by the hype, I do want this game based on opinions strictly. After writing this, I may go watch some videos of this game to get a further heads up on it. But yeah, The Wolrd Ends With You is definitely on the top of my wanted list.

Next are the top 3 games that I want in the near future...
Final Fantasy IV
I want this game for two primary reasons:
1) I loved Final Fantasy 3 on the DS.
2) I have never played Final Fantasy 4
Really though, this game is going to be fantastic. I love Final Fantasy games in general, but Final Fantasy 3 is one of my all time favorite DS games. In fact, in ranks second on my list...Nothing can top Dawn of Sorrow. Anyways, I really am looking forward to this game's release in...I believe July. I read some previews on it, and I am completely stoked for it. I also promised myself this: Gamespot's score of this game will not cause me to buy or not buy it. The same goes for all three of the games I want in the future.
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia

To be honest, I know nothing about this game
Gears of War 2

This is the final game on my most wanted list...And it is the one I am anticipating the most. I already had a fantastic experience with the first Gears of War, and this game looks so much better. I read countless articles about it and am continuously fascinated by the new things I learn about it. Whether it's the new modes online, or I'm watching footage of the new campaign, this game is one I know will be superb in all regards. I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT! (caps)

That is all. I won't be very active this coming week due to golf camp, but I'll be around. If I don't have time to make a blog for it... Happy Fourth of July! Peace,

Time Spent- 45 minutes on the campaign and approximately 20 minutes online
The minute I got this game I started the campaign on the normal difficulty setting. You start off learning the fundamentals, such as aiming and blowing up a house. I like the controls a lot, they remind me of Call of Duty 4. The only action I don't particularly like is the crouching. You click in the Left analog stick to crouch low, which is alright, but I wished you could crawl. It isn't that big of a deal though, it's basically the same thing as Halo. The health system is completely different from either of these games, however. Instead of simply recovering your health by taking cover, this game requires you to heal yourself by pressing LB and then the right trigger. In some ways I like this, because it makes things more challenging. You have to wait for a brief amount of time in order to use this health system. The amount of health you have is shown by a number...100 being the highest and 0 causing you to die. This is similar to games such as Doom. Anyways, this game is really entertaining to me. Being able to blow up nearly anything is a huge plus. I really enjoy that. The graphics in this game are also really realistic, and very good. The campaign so far has been enjoyable, and I look forward to getting right back into it. This game is actually pretty challenging so far, since the enemies are pretty smart. Your allies are not the worst in this game, they actually help kill enemies and protect you. So yeah, the campaign is fantastic in my little time spent playing it.
The multiplayer in this game is also really fun, and it is my favorite part. I sucked, but I had a great time in the 2 matches I played. I played a match that can be best described as a Territories in Halo or Headquarters in Call of Duty. It was really fun, and I managed to get some kills for my team. I also am really happy that they have a ranking system, even though I am only on the second rank
Overall this game is really good and is worthy of being in anyone's collection. I am off to play some more of it. I hope you guys enjoyed hearing about my first impressions of the game. When I complete it, I will post a review of the game. Peace,

Yes, before my favorite game to battle it out on was Halo (I particularly loved Halo 2's MP). Halo 2 is probably the longest time I've ever spent playing multiplayer, and the funny thing is, I didn't even have Xbox Live:O. Now, with my Xbox Live and all, I can't stop playing Call of Duty 4. Before Halo 2, I think my favorite multiplayer game was Super Smash Bros. Melee... Can't say that I am fond of Brawl that much
. I don't know why I don't enjoy Brawl as much... But anyways, Call of Duty 4 is so intense. I really enjoy the intensity of the matches, even when I am sucking
. Right now I am on Level 50...getting ready to reach 55 and I'm not sure if I will start over again. I probably will, because that was my initial plan from the start. Gotta go all the way
. My favorite and most used weapon is the M4 Carbine... It took me a long time to select my best weapon, and for some reason I really like the M4 Carbine with the red dot of course
. Before that, I was using the G3, which I think is the coolest weapon. The problem with that was I couldn't use it effectively enough in close quarters. Prior to that, I was a big AK-47 guy
. I don't know why I stopped using it, I guess I just wanted to try new things. As far as how long I've played Call of Duty 4 online... I think it's right around 50 hours
. I should be much further in rank than I am, but you had no idea how bad I used to be. In fact, I've only become halfway decent a couple of weeks ago. For me, Call of Duty is all about reflexes. Even if I get to a location where I think is concealed from foes, I'll always run into someone at the wrong time. Being able to immediately respond to someone appearing is essential for winning. The only problem is there are generally unwanted guests surrounding me
. But man, I really am having a blast with Call of Duty 4
. Developing all sorts of strategies on the various maps is just a thrilling experience for me. However, there are some maps that I will always suck at, and there are others that I do well in. For instance, I can't seem to do well on Overgrown...I really like the map, but I guess I am not the greatest there because I am admittedly a bad sniper
. However, levels such as The Bog are ones I can do really well in... most of the time. I forgot to mention that I have a tenedency to not be consistent. It isn't as bad as it used to be, but there are ocassional matches (even on locations I do well on) where I am flatout terrible. It's probably because I get tired after playing for 5 hours straight
. But yeah, I have to find a way to work around inconsistency. Halo 3 is another game I really like Online, but it isn't as good as Call of Duty 4. I do a lot better in Halo 3 though. I just think Call of Duty is more realistic. I am tired of my unexplainable deaths in Halo
. But I'll still be playing both of those games. As for how many kills I get... The most kills I've gotten in Call of Duty on Team Deathmatch is probably 23 kills. It isn't really particulalry great, but I also only died 3 times. In Halo 3, I once got 32/50 of my team's kills. It was pretty awesome
. So yeah, although I'm sure you guys have done better then me in these games, just wanted to tell you I've been having a good time, especially in CoD. What's the most kills you've gotten in a Team Deathmatch???

Yeah two or three days ago, I went to go see You Don't Mess with the Zohan. If I had one word to describe it, the word interesting comes to mind. It's one of those movies that will make you laugh, but give you nightmares at the same time. Overall, Sandler stars in a great film, but not anywhere near his cla$$ics like Water Boy, Happy Gilmore, or Billy Madison. However, it was better than some of his films, particularly the more recent ones. I liked this better than Chuck and Larry, even though I wasn't fond of it to begin with. Anyways, this movie has great, typical humor that will probably guarantee you a laugh. However, this movie goes way overboard in a weird way...more than once you'll be in disbelief of what you just saw. Looking back on those disturbing scenes, I laugh. They are hilarious, but at first you'll be scarred temporarily. Anyways, this movie didn't have the most fantastic story behind it, but that doesn't make me upset. For me, a good comedy generally has some sort of plot, but not some thorough concept that you'd have to watch seven times to understand. You Don't Mess with the Zohan had its story, but I won't get into it just to completely avoid spoiling the movie at all. It will make you laugh with the constant sex-related jokes, especially if you are a teenager much like myself
-Oblivion
Gonna have a great one this year, but it is the shortest one of my whole academic career
As far as my plans...tonight I'm probably gonna go check out Don't Mess with the Zohan with my friends. Should be a good time. That movie looks hilarious
So yeah, I also will be doing World of Warcraft
