  Wow, it has been FOREVER.

  Intro

  Wow, it has been literally forever since my last blog post. The reason for my absence is simple; I've spent my net time on Myspace, Facebook, and 1UP instead of Gamespot. But, I guess I'm back, lol.

  Game Updates

  Pokemon Diamond: The game I'm currently playing. I have four Gym badges and I'm working on the fifth. Very good title I'd recommend to anyone with a DS or DS Lite.

  Future Plans

  I plan on selling my desktop, monitor, and *cries* my Xbox 360 to help me purchase a gaming notebook (think Alienware or Dell XPS 1710 or a Velocity Micro). I need a portable unit; I greatly regret buying a desktop last year. I don't need something tiny, just something I can take around with me. Long as it isn't 500 pounds, I'm ok with it. I'm waiting for the GeForce Go 8800 line to become available before I do anything, as that is the card I want.

  Been awhile since my last blog. Some updates.

  It's been a while, huh guys? Sorry that I haven't written any blogs in a while. I plan on writing one at least once a week from now on. Anywho, this one is just updates, plus some impressions and what-not.
  
  Game Update: Dragon Quest VIII
  I am currently on a quest to the Dragon Graveyard. I decided to escort the bratty female of the Golding family, Carrie. She's really annoying, too. But, her and her brother Cash have the best voice-work in the game besides Yangus, Morrie, and Don Mole.
  
  Game Update: Street Fighter Anniversary Collection
  Currently playing Street Fighter III. I'm practicing with Dudley, since he's my favorite character. I'm not exactly a good fighter, but I enjoy fighting games. Especially 2-D fighting games. I'd be a mean opponent if I could remember all of my combos. That's why I enjoy the Marvel vs. Capcom series. You don't have to know specific combos. Just imagine a combination, and it's done.
  
  Life Update: New York Baby!
  Next week, I will be traveling to New York City. I'm so excited. The Statue of Liberty, the Nintendo World Store, and so much more. It's going to pwn.
  
  Life Update: Tests, yuck
  This week is exams. Eww...
  
  Net Update: Newgrounds pwns
  If you haven't been to Newgrounds, you should go IMMEDIATELY. It's great. The George Bush Show is a classic.
  
  Anyway, those are just updates. I'm actually writing a fanfiction right now. I plan on posting all of the chapters on the net as I finish them. Hope you enjoy them (when I post them). See ya next mission!

  A rest from Dragon Mania, plus a fighting game marathon

  
  In the past few weeks, I have been addicted to only one thing. That thing, is Dragon Quest VIII, which rivals Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Resident Evil 4 as the best game of last year. It's a great game, but sometimes, you just gotta take a break. I've killed enough slimes to earn one.
  
  So, in the mean time, I've decided to brush up on my fighting game skills. I've been playing Capcom Fighting Evolution for a few days now. It's a half-decent game, despite its negative critisism. You just have to get into it. I've been playing as Zangief, for the most part. I've never been into grapplers, so I had some trouble adjusting to his style of play, but now I like him. His Spinning Piledriver owns just about everyone, if you can get it to connect. He's also got the best super in the game besides Ryu. His Final Atomic Buster does a ton of damage (try over 75% of the health gage at level 4 damage) but it has horrible range and it's easy to avoid. Still, it's good. I'm more of a Special Forces guy (Guile and Charlie are my two favorite characters in the world of Street Fighter and fighting games in general) since their charges let them do some pretty cool (if not cheap) tricks. Although they are my favorite overall, my all-time favorite character is the Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo (and CFE/CVS2) M. Bison.
  
  I've also sat down with my PSP (which is ugly now, due to the face-plate being scrated, darn my laziness for not buying a screen protector) which I haven't done in a good, long while. I've been playing good ol' Darkstalkers. Who doesn't love Darkstalkers? Next to Street Fighter III, it's easily my favorite Capcom fighting series, bar none.
  
  I've also been playing my friend's copy of San Andreas, which has been in my possesion for around 3 months now. Just performing missions. And, unlike him, I'm not using cheat codes to beat the game. I only use cheats after I beat a game. And, there is Advance Wars.
