  My mother's 50th.

  I got depressed because of the huge check I wrote for my mom to cash on her 50th birthday. Wishful thinking, spellwork, dancing wu li masters, etc. Turns out, it didn't work. I was thinking, sht, that "hand you're dealt" stuff makes sense. I thought about how I lament about Austin on here because it's the blog I kind of have that I couldn't care less about so it's a great place to dump that kind of stuff - it's gotta be that I've been going about things all wrong for so long. If I'd joined the Navy back when I first considered it, I'd be almost done and a pretty decently ranked officer since I'd be taking tests whenever I could. Not liking the whole inability to take my mom out for her 50th to the rooftops of 11 chinatowns around the world so I figure I'm gonna just cut all this exp to get the job, job to get the exp catch-22 bullsht and join the Navy to become a culinary specialist. I'll get out, get my loan, get my bar/rest., make that green, and I bet you I'll still be playing the first Mercenaries. Wish me luck, Sally (who might be dead and I just never found out lol), for I'm off to lose 15% my body fat. Symphony of the Night might hinder this goal but I'll press on with all my might and vigor. Ah, who am I kidding, I'm pretty sure she's dead.

  The catacombs.

  I use the blog here to chronicle every 2-3 months my progress in this damn town. 10 months, 9 jobs, 10 W-2s from '07, and making no progress at all in my goal - the reason I went to Austin. It's a lie. People talk about its nightlife and its live music and transit but don't listen to them. The people aren't even as evolved as they are in Odessa, TX. The hicks are dumber and the "city folk" are basically Texans who tott theyselves how to read and put on them homo's clothing. Hyuk. Also, v-day is tomorrow and I was this close to having a girl to share it with but, you know... well, you might not know, but if you ask, I'll go on about it for hours and then you'll know. Whatever. I'm going to Vancouver the second I can get unstuck from this wretched tomb.

  Get back in my house.

  It's been 8 months since I moved to Austin. Job 9's not bad, could be better. Don't know if job 10'll be a career, but I hope to bang out some game testing via LE or Volt while I'm in Austin. Finally got myself a 360 and now my free-time consists of finding medical studies, working at a hotel, and playing Crackdown. Why am I blogging here?
