  Holiday Sales Post post post holiday sales. Everything you don't Want on sale.

  Has the world of retail lost their minds? Maybe they think we're all stupid or it could just be me. It's a recession the government wants people to spend money but, where are the sales on the good stuff? Iphones and iPods no mark downs during the holiday's anywhere just repackaged and bundled with accessories. HDTV's a few sales here and there and a few post holiday sales thanks to Super Bowl Sunday coming up. Still its nothing to get excited about the 720p tvs got the best mark downs but the 1080p sets still would have cost you a testicle.

  No price drop on Wii's because everybody wants one. Sony can't afford to drop the price on PS3, at least that's what they say, but they can afford to make a million different versions of the damn thing. They might not be in the mess they're in if they left it backwards compatible and at a $399 price tag.

  I guess you can't just blame manufacturers alone retailers don't exactly help themselves. The deal I saw during the holiday season was Transformer the Movie on Blue Ray for $10 but it was a door buster at (not such a)Best Buy. Those were gone by the time got there. I think it would be nice if retail management taught the basics of customer service. It seems like they just give some of these guys a name tag and a shirt and tell em to hit the sales floor. As someone who has worked many a retail job from Smart and Final to Blockbuster Video from Staples to Trader Joes , I know crappy service when I see and/or experience it. You want me to spend money in your store and by a bunch crap I don't need? Then at least hire a staff that can tell me more about the product than whats on the F-N, tag! I've watch customer service in retail deteriorate I swear for a good 7 or 8 years. Get me somebody in your store that can at least fake like they give a damn that I'm spending my hard earned money on a corporation that cares even less for its employees.

  I don't think I asking for too much, it's not like world peace or feed everyone that's starving. It isn't even asking to shelter all the homeless in the richest nation in the world. It's just a little friggin respect. Please don't insult the consumers intelligence, that all.

  In hind sight, maybe that is too much to ask. I guess I should just ask the federal government to make wall street show some transparency with the tax dollars it got from all of us. I'll save this ammo for another blog another time.

  Well I'm off to Ikea to buy new bed slats for my ramberg and I don't really want to go and I don't want bed slats. Maybe they'll be on sale. I'll settle for in stock though.
