  Resonance of Fate: The First Boss

  For a first boss, in any game I have played, I have never faced such a difficult one upon first encounter. It was at level 17 while, upon first arriving, I was at level 5. I died many times and I decided to grind my level up to 10 per character before confronting him again. Lv 10 vs. Lv 17 better odds overall than Lv 5 vs Lv 17 specially with three characters, But died nearly half a dozen more times trying to get used to tri-attacks and switching weapons. This is also the first time coming across a first boss that can heal itself (I may have come across one or two previously, but don't really recall). I wonder if the next boss will be easier.

  Behemoths of FFXIII

  I am getting sick of fighting so many types of behemoths in Final Fantasy 13. Don't get me wrong, it is one of my favorite games, but there doesn't seem to be a wide variety of monsters. I mean they change details, HP, stats, and weaknesses/strengths, and change the name, but it is still the same monster no matter how you look at it. I know they do that for all Final Fantasy games but to me, this fact really stands out in this game. It just kinda gets troublesome and annoying. And this is not limited to the behemoths either, but for just about all monsters in the game.
