  Unions Fail at Life!

  Gamespot Unions are a big failure for communities.
  More unions have failed then succeeded on Gamespot as users have lost interest, given up and moved out.
  
  Why is this?
  As a officer for several unions a while ago, they all fizzled up and died out. Many still try and survive but ultimately inactivity is the killer for any online community.
  Reviving doesn't work either as the communities try and rekindle hope in the union but then the god of inactivity rains over the once destroyed union.
  
  All I say is unions aren't the best idea on the web but only when nurtured and matured can they really belong in the realm known as the internet.

  Open Arena Tournament

  I'm hosting a tournament at the online tournament union.
  Its a game called Open Arena (Open Source Quake 3) and is open source so all of you can go and download it and be happy as you frag your opponents to oblivion.
  
  The problem is no one has signed up so I can't verse anyone or have a tournament at all.
