Welcome aboard the VIP list. How does it feel to be a few out of a hundred? Feels really great, before I saw the list I never thought I would be on it. *You're one the ones that randomely tracked me, but came to be an awesome gamespot friend. Where did you see me? I think I first saw you when I was friends with Ze(why did he get banned) and then saw your blogs and they were good reads. Have you met any new or old friends on my blogs? The only one I remember right now is ejstrup but I think a few more I know and after I became friends I started seeing some new ones like chaos-SD. Do you happen to hate any games that you believe are overrated?
The first game that comes to mind imo is Halo 3. I admit I never played much of the Halo games(only 1 for awhile) and I think the 3rd one was very overrated because the single player(from what I've heard) isn't that special and the only redeeming quality of the game is it's multiplayer. Another game is GTA4, omg that game is the most overrated of all time. I haven't beaten the game but god I can't find any motivation to beat the game. And the multiplayer is fun... for awhile til you get bored. I can go on and on and on but I think you know where I'm going with this.
Have a favorite franchise (Game wise)? I'm still kinda a Sonic fan(not a diehard one though) but my favorite franchise has to be the Jak and Daxter series. Its awesome, funny, and has a great story behind it too. *Your avatar is Metal Sonic from Sonic/Knuckles when you're playing as Knuckles in the final Angel Island level. Awesome! Care to share any memories from that? Oh man, good times. Good times. The Metal Sonic from this game is best looking one from the 2D era imo and when transforms into a super mode.
Favorite movie? Hmmm, this is a tough one. I would say The Lion King since that was pretty much my childhood memory and still my favorite Disney animated movie.
Have you seen Death Note?
Did you know gods of death love apples? Did you know L is way better than Near? That Misa is hot? That Matsuda is funny? That Mello has an addiction? I think you know the answer to my question now. Also, Watashi wa L desu(I wanted to tell you I'm L)*echoes*
*Shivers...he used the dubbed version of that line.* Do you happen to have an epic song that you could tell us about so I can hear it? Between two epic songs I think this one works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViEH57xQu1c oops wrong one
. Here's the real one, "Requiem For a Dream": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2Ma4BvMUwU (Self interest for the win.) So...When are you going to use that Bansaw? In due time, in due time *remembers he had a bansaw*
Anything you want to say before I give your tribute? Watch Death Note, watch Higurashi, watch Soul Eater(and read it), Symphony's awesome, and ... Neo Metal Sonic FTW!!!!
Tribute
Firstly, THANK YOU, for bolding this for me Game Masta! lol With that said, the interview told you how we met.
What ya'll don't know is that this guy is an epic veteran of the blog since he was actually a random tracker that NEVER fell for a trick on his very first comment here. When he posts, he posts long and leaves great comments!
He's a fellow fan of the old Sonic, which is how I knew he'd know I was talking about with the Sonic question in such pinpoint detail. That really was an awesome Metal Sonic.
He's someone that is guaranteed to read your blogs (Well...He reads mine.) completely and give you among the best of feedback, which...in a blog, is all a ranter could ask for...It is fated luck that I got him, but I'm happy and proud I did! And since he knows of Angel Island's boss fight, BACK OFF!

Welcome aboard the VIP list. How does it feel to be a few out of a hundred?
Terrific!! Never thought I would make it into that list because (sometimes) I miss your blogs or get there too late, when all the fun is gone, so basically I always think I'll get banscythed... not that I'm afraid of that damn banscythe, but I'm just saying.
Again it feels terrific!
*Where have you been on the forums?
I barely go to the forums now, because I need to split time between my wife, my games and GS... and as I kinda prefer to know what are you up to guys, I kinda just hang around the blogs. I tried to get back to the forums a couple of times but I never find any of you guys now, so it's not THAT fun without you.
Have you met any new or old friends on my blogs?
Most of my friends are guys I've met from the forums, but as most of them (the close ones) are familiar to you as well, I guess I can say I've found old friends here: Vyse, hazel, Tombo, roger, ndm, ZSC... wait!! this last one doesn't count because he contacted us after we all were already here, so yeah, he doesn't count.
And then there are the new guys that came from a 2nd batch of members for the hijack crew, like avataraang, Maikedi, Elann, ZSC... wtf?? what's with this last guy??
Cool friends we have in common!! Do you happen to hate any games that you believe are overrated? Have a favorite franchise (Game wise)?
Well, no, I don't. As a gamer, I don't really hate any games, I just don't play them if I conclude they don't match my tastes. I try the games first, if they do deserve the hate, I gladly give it, but that's pretty rare. For example, I've given Halo a try, even if it's like the most overrated game from the last gen... and I thought it was meh, that's how I know it's overrated, but I don't really hate it. I just don't give a flying **** about it.
I guess what I hate the most are the fanboys of those overrated games. They instantly turn on some switch inside my head that makes me wanna flame them or mess with them, so if you see me dissing a game, it's not because I hate it, it's because I'm messing with the fanboys. So you better try your best not to build up some fanboy base with Moonlit Sonata, if you don't want me to diss it.
BTW, that not only applies for videogames but for other things like music, movies, books, etc.
(Favorite Franchise question)
I guess I should say "Megaman" because I got instantly hooked with the original Megaman back in the NES days, followed the blue bomber along the NES, SNES, GB, PSOne, GBA... too bad the series is kinda going downhill after they made the jump to the PS2 and DS, I haven't liked any of those.
Small anecdote: I failed a drawing test, (architectural drawing) because the stupid profesor said: "for this test, you get to make a free drawing... anything you like." So I drew Megaman and got owned... he said anything lol
Play Shining Force Neo. You'll find hate. Favorite movie?
Of course, man... got lots!! but if you're talking about just one, it gets tough. Even harder than the last question.
If I had to go with one movie, it'll have to be "Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi". I'm not a SW geek/fanboy/nerd but that's got to be the very first movie I got memories of. I remember coming out of the movies with my mom and dad... probably I didn't understand crap back then but the memory remains and whenever I watch it again, it brings back good memories. Not to mention it's a kick ass movie.
*I take it you like the Green Goblin from Spiderman?
Yup. This also comes back from my childhood, when my dad used to buy Spider-man comics for me, so basically he's the reason of that particular superhero to be my favorite. Anyway, I always cheer up for the bad guy, don't know why, I just do... and as the Green Goblin is Spider-man's quintessential enemy, it was my obvious choice when I created my online id back in 1998 (not GS id)
Have you seen Death Note?
Plain and simple: Nope... but as I know you like it so much, I promise I will some day.
Do you happen to have an epic song that you could tell us about so I can hear it? (Self interest for the win.)
Well, yes, also have tons of those... but if you want an epic song I think I'll have to say "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" by Iron Maiden. As you can guess, (if you can) it's based on a poem with the same name... old poem, like really old.
I'm a metalhead (not literally) so Maiden is one of my all time favorite bands. When I was younger I always though "The Trooper" was Maiden's best song... but that was before I had my hands on 2 things: the "Live after Death" album and the actual "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" poem. When I read that, I reliazed of the badassness of the song because it implements the poem sooooo well to the lirycs that I was shocked to understand how ignorant I was 'til that day.
A couple of years ago, I showed it to my wife, with poem in hand I played the song and as it went by, my wife began to like the song... she likes Maiden now
Oh yeah, not to mention that the music kick ass as well!!
BTW, the song is like 13 mins, so didn't find a link with the whole thing... so: Link1 Link2
Anything you want to say before I give your tribute?
Well, there's not much to say except that even though I skipped to dedicate that lolbaboon to you a couple of blogs ago, you know it was strictly business... like you said, we must hold on to our rules and sadly the one set for that particular blog excluded you. But I guess I can say it now: I love you, you egomaniac!!
Also, it's been a pleasure to meet such fine members of the GS forums like the ones that belong to the hijack crew. And what would be that crew without you.
Peace!!
Tribute If memory serves, I met this guy during a thread hijack when PS3 owners were acting a fool. He is a fellow music fanboy...fanatic like yours truly and has a variety of tastes in music and games and just like the rest of my veteran blog members (Before my blog became public and all those new guys/girls came flying in: We don't like fanboys.
He is indeed worth checking out. Though his blogs are FAR more random than mine can ever hope to be, this isn't exactly a bad thing since he can do random tributes to faithful members. No hints there
And flaming him of course is out of the bloody question since he loves all music darnit!
Note: My inactive behavior is due to school...and since I'm giving it more effort than last year and the year before...it's taking me longer to get to your blogs and/or respond. Please bare with me during these tough times. lol

Welcome aboard the VIP list. How does it feel to be a few out of a hundred? Pretty sweet. The number of intelligent beings on this site is dwindling at an amazing rate. I enjoy reading and discussing your blogs as you are highly versed in many things. I figure you picked me for the same reasons.
*You have a high response rate in my blogs and yet I somehow still managed to cut you! (Accident of course) How'd that feel? Well, I've been pretty MIA lately due to real life problems and stresses, lol! I figured it was an accident as I had not missed many blogs. I would have cried if I had really been cut.....
Have you met any new or old friends on my blogs? Yes I have! But to be honest I don't keep very good contact with many people on here because I don't post in the forums for fear of moderation. Disagreeing with someone on the Wii forum is an automatic moderation!
Do you happen to hate any games that you believe are overrated? Pikmin, Animal Crossing, the whoring out of Mario to any genre besides the one he belongs in and handheld gaming in general. If I want to play games I will play them on a BIG HDTV, not a tiny little screen that I have to squint to see. Don't even get me started about the tinny audio....
Have a favorite franchise (Game wise)?
If I can pick only one franchise then I have to pick Resident Evil. If I can name off several then the list could go on for hours! My collection is pretty big and I am a fan of many franchises.
Favorite movie? I have a very large collection of Blu-rays, DVDs and HD-DVDs.....over 1,000. Unlike many people, my favorite movie does not change every time a new comedy comes out or the latest installment in a series comes out, etc. While I do enjoy several and could easily make a top 100 list I will always have the Matrix Trilogy at the top of the list. Many people think the 2nd and 3rd movies suck, but most of those people are of such low intelligence and have such closed minds that they can't comprehend the philosophical ideals that the Wachowski brothers were conveying. With that said, I have always believed that there is more to life than what we experience here and that there are forces out there with a masterplan for the grand dance that is existence. Not everyone believes in what I believe in, but my beliefs do not require them to.
* I admit, neither of us think highly of the Wii when compared to the other Wii fans. Have any words for that? lol I share a house with my fiancee and one of my closest friends, Andy. Andy and I both have the Wii and we haven't used either of them in months. The Wii is a joke. I have 23 retail games and 41 VC games and people try to say that I don't know what I'm talking about when I bash the Wii. Outside of Mario Galaxy, Zelda: TP, Metroid Prime 3 and Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition there is literally nothing for the hardcore gamer. Anything that is multiplatform is done better on the PS3 and 360. Games like Wii Sports and Wii Play are great for sucking in casuals at a party, but they are not enough to satisfy my expectations of what makes a good game. The Wii is the shallow end of the pool where people get their toes wet. Only the most diehard of fanboys didn't move on when the PS1 and Saturn came around. It all depends on age. I jumped ship on Nintendo when the Genesis came out and have always preferred Sega, Sony and Microsoft ever since. I still buy every Nintendo console and plenty of games for them, but enjoy them less and less each generation. It's pretty sad that the Gamecube is still a better console than the Wii. I can name off more classics for the GC than the Wii will ever have.
Have you seen Death Note? You know, I see it on my digital cable schedule and it's always on at the most inopportune times. I think that I'll start recording it to my Windows Media Center as I have heard good things about it from several people. When I do watch it I will have to do a marathon and watch them all in a week. I love marathon wathcing!
Do you happen to have an epic song that you could tell us about so I can hear it? (Self interest for the win.)
There are so many! Only one.....Clubbed To Death by Rob Dougan. Here's the link to the video for the song. It's from about 1998-99, way ahead of its time and the message that it conveys is true. Most everyone is moving backwards in thinking, living, ideals, etc. But there are a few people who keep their mind open and strive to improve and create a better society. The song conveys the feeling of epic struggle and impossible odds with a hint of hope and tons of determination. It's instrumental, no lyrics. Beautiful.....I am a big fan of classical music and love the composers who keep the genre alive.
linky: Clubbed To Death by Rob Dougan
link piano only: Clubbed To Death Piano Solo
Uh-ohs! He knows of Clubbed to Death! Epic. *We have both been modded for calling the Wii...stuff. What was your most ridiculous moderation? HAHAHAHAHAHA! I'm going to copy and paste it for you. It was a couple months back when some Wii-baby was crying and sniveling in the Wii boards because Mario Kart Wii was sold out and I suggested a *gasp* DIFFERENT GAME. Here is the unedited text. I'll probably get modded again, lol!
marvingamebeast wrote:I have been searching for mario kart wii forever and it is not in any store. I mean come on do they have old people making and boxing the games or what.
Where some would see a negative I see a positive. Now you can take the money that you would have spent on an average rehash with little new to offer and you can buy MGS4 and enjoy what is surely to be the GOTY or GOTY runner-up across all platforms!
Providence!
Anything you want to say before I give your tribute?
Yes! Symphony is awesome. You should all bow before him as he will probably be the President one day. The Wii sucks hard and no amount of denial changes the fact that 2008 belongs to the PS3 and 360. And I'm REALLY SORRY that I was MIA for almost a month. I had to move and had to go to court 4 times since August 1st. That's a ton of stress and thankfully it will be all dealt with about a month from now. Thanks for not disowning me due to my absence! Wii sucks! I wish I had Goro arms so I could give it 4 thumbs down! Have fun with your plastic boards! I'll be SUPER JEALOUS while I'm busy playing Soulcalibur 4 and Gears 2 online every night while others are standing on a plastic board. That must be so much fun! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA......mod me! Mod Deominator!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the blog. You're an awesome friend and I appreciate your efforts here and in the real world where things matter most.
Tribute
This man is awesome. End of that story right there. With that said, I met him on the Playstation 3 forums...I forgot the actual topic, but we were just being random and spamming a guy's thread since it was a useless one anyways (If memory serves me.) So we added each other. Simple as that.
Both he and I...wii have problems with the Nintendo Wii for how much it has disappointed our hardcore gamer's side. Whenever we're together talking about the Wii or mods, you can bet one of us, if not both of us will get modded or suspended.
With that said, from the very first post he's made on these blogs, he has always been good with leaving awesome long posts and even went back to blogs before he tracked me and read them. Never fell for a single blog trick of mine. He's pretty smart (Check his IQ) and gives no care on bashing the Wii from those that are overly-sensitive to defending that system...which is funny since it proves his point further with hardcore Wii gamers.
Oh, and not only does he know of the awesomeness that is "Clubbed to Death", but he also told you to bow before me, so no flaming him darnit!
