Key to the city
I completed GTA IV 100% today. The last thing I had to do was to take Brucie to a strip club
Despite thinking I could get 100% after finding the last pigeon.I think IV was an easier GTA to get 100% compared to the others. SA had loads of little things like schools unlike VC and GTA 3 which I know had the same-ish amount of things as GTA IV. You had to rob stores in VC (gasp!) which probably didn't take long either but here there wasn't really any "hidden" stuff to do.
I also completed IV 100% faster than the old GTA's (SA of course but still faster than III and VC, I think). Maybe that's because of this game being much more online associated and feeling that I should rush. However with SA, I did start over a few times before finishing the story for no reason. I did the same thing here, but still did it quicker. Also, using and abusing the ingame taxi service is another reason (PS, those taxi drivers are my biggest enemy in this game)
But now, lots of exploring, if I could be bothered
. I feel there should be some rare hidden cars. I found a Burritio (sp) van in Alderney finding the 2nd last pigeon and I swear I hadn't seen one yet :S . I'm not going to start this game over, no matter what. I made the mistake of doing that 3 times (total) to get some "unique" cars which after playing some more began to disappear. Those were from the guide in the GTA IV section, and even some like the gold rimmed PCJ 600 I have seen on the streets. Rare, then. Besides I feel there's no point, I never drive them anyway but I do like my Police Stockade

25 tips for Success
What I saw on Bnet today. It's to do with business, but handy for other things.
1) You are almost certainly more talented than you'd ever imagined. It's your duty to make the most of these talents.
2) Money matters. It gives you choices. But never be ruled by money. It may be a cliché, but you can't take it with you.
3) Doing things you believe to be worthwhile will make you feel and be successful.
4) Try to enjoy your own company. If you are a leader then you'll spend quite a lot of time by yourself.
5) Always give those above you honest feedback. Too few do. They'll value you as one of their honest barometers.
6) Flex your muscles. Try new things. Get out of your comfort zone. You are unlikely to get better there.
7) Have a plan and set yourself milestones.
8 ) Decide when you need to move on from everything you do. The emancipating effect of knowing that you have an exit plan will be extraordinary.
9) Don't take yourself too seriously.
10) Failure is a great teacher. Don't be frightened of it, learn from it and get better. And don't blame others when it happens.
11) Learn to see things from every point of view. The key to spectacular, breakthrough success is turning a convention upside down.
12) Avoid negative thinkers. Life is too short to be gloomy.
13) Learn new things every day. Write them down. You'll forget them otherwise.
14) Do more than you think you can. Not just work. Everything. Friends, family, hobbies, theatre, cinema, concerts, charity work (and go to the pub as well).
15) Try to spot patterns. Big pictures comprise shapes. If you can see relationships and shapes you can almost certainly see opportunities.
16) Build great teams. Be assiduous at discovering magic chemical mixes — who works well with whom. Find people who make you feel good, look good and do well.
17) Successes have to talk a lot so work on your voice. Make it resonate. Enjoy the sound of it so that others will, too.
18 ) Have the courage of your convictions. Do not compromise on things you believe in.
19) Look after yourself. Diet. Sleep. Holidays. Try to do yourself justice. Fat and florid is not in fashion.
20) Be ambitious: as you reach a new level of excellence force yourself to the next level. Keep on improving.
21) Get things done. Complete tasks, don't be a finicky must-get-it-perfect person. Done well and on time is good. Done brilliantly but late is not.
22) Be informed. Keep up-to-date with new developments and earn the reputation of being a well-informed and curious person.
23) Get out and meet people. Visit stores where your products are displayed. Talk to your customers and consumers. Be on the move, not stuck behind your PC.
24) Spend time with your boss, get to know them and what they are looking for. Being aligned with those around you is simply common sense.
25) First impressions count. Don't go into your meeting without an agenda, without a point of view and without your best listening ears pinned back.
