    Mans want for 360.

As a Nintendo owner and supporter, one might choose to believe that I'm limited to games of fanboy fame and would defend Nintendo's honour if it meant jail time, but this is untrue. I will be buying a 360 at the next price drop, mainly because I'm a bit sick of computer upgrades and how the PC industry seems uninterested in generating buttloads of game revenue buy selling thier components for what they're actually worth, but whatever, they lost me anyways. So, that being said, Quike I'm sorry but I'm probably going Mac man, no hassle no BS no upgrading for games, just a computer for the things I need it for. I'm thinking Wii/360/macbook would be a very good combination, I mean you have games and applications from all corners of the gaming industry and more. All of this multi-platform thought started to make me realize that I've been a fanboy sometimes, I'm not too proud of it but we learn. So next time your about to give up your online dignity to defend the Wii the 360 or even the under-appreciated PS3, just remember, no one asked you to devote yourself to one thing, and you just sound like an a$$h*le who is trying to convince him/herself that they made a wise purchase.

My apologies to those of you that cant get over this and still think your one in a million...

    Nintendo a go-go!

As I was perusing G-spots main page I noticed that Xbox live arcade is getting an undersea exploration game, Sea Safari or some crap like that (I really cant be bothered to hit my browsers back button to verify the name, its pretty sad). Anyways, this seems similar to Nintendo's equivalent "Endless Ocean" (I hope thats what its called, I have blue planet on DVD so I could give a crap and a dollar to the game, wether good or bad.

I'm not saying that XBLA is being a big copy-cat, I'm actually agreeing with the decision if they did draw inspiration from Nintendo, because lets face it theyre an innovator. What most people dont realize is that Nintendo makes games, not graphical benchmarks, not always deep dark metephors and storys too complex for Stephen King to follow. They make games, thats it people, theyre for fun, and thats the bottom line. I enjoy the afformentioned points in many games, but when I wake up on a Saturday morning and find out that I've missed my beloved cartoons (I'm a bit immature in that respect) I go to the next thing that always brightened my weekends, which are games that take less than two minutes to get fun and keep me entertained not forever but for at least a few months. Nintendo has always delivered this in spades.

This may come as a suprise to you given what I've said, I almost despize Smash Bros. and I wasn't too fond of Double Dash (the former of which I am admitedly mediocre at). Firstly let me explain why I'll never buy Smash Bros. Brawl, it undercut Nintendo's system, its developments and its technology single handedly. I could go on and on about it but all I really have to say is that even though the menu system uses a target, said target didn't even move when the Wii-mote was pointed at the screen. Why? Why when nintendo has done so much and created such a revolution in the gaming, no, the Virtual Reality world that its an adequately large step backwards to not "hoar" out your fancy new controls.

To the fanboys (anyone who got a stiffy when they got the "play for so many hours" achievments in Brawl, in other words): save youe Gamecube controllers for a rainy day when you have too many friends over fo the amount of Wii-motes you have, because were all directly responsible for change, if we show that were clinging to old technology, we wont keep moving forward.
