Sometimes Life is Craptastic
I don't log in much here, simply because my PC cannot seem to handle it. For a while I have been trying to stash away some extra cash for a new PC. Something I could play Total War 2 Medieval on. Long story short, some doooooshbag broke into my place and stole all my PS3 games and my PS3 console (among other things). Turns out the whole neighborhood has been borken into at least once.
So now I have to move, and replace all my PS3 gear. Goodbye $money$!

I'd rant more about it, but it's so obviously total bullDUNG I don't think anymore ranting would help.
Here is a tip though: If you can even lock your games, controllers, etc in a cabinet or something when you are not at home, you might be able to save them from being stolen if someone breaks into your home. Apparently (after careful observation of my very own crime scene, and talking with cops) thieves usually travel light, and only steal what they can carry or stuff into a back pack. For example, if the cabinet takes too long or makes too much noise to break into, they won't take it with them because they can't carry it on their bike or whatever. They are usually in a hurry, so things that are difficult to break into may save the contents from being ripped off. Hope this helps. I hope to follow my own advice in the future.
So in a month or two, I hope to see you back on the PSN! Speaking of PSN, games bought on PSN cannot get stolen, so anytime I have the option to buy on PSN I take it. I have Burnout Paradise from PSN, but I only got to play it for 3 or 4 frikkkin days before my PS3 got stolen. Gawd darmnit I hate doooooooshbag thieves!

PS3 & Who else is playing Borderlands right now?
So it's probably obvious by now, but I did get a PS3, and I am quite happy with it. I wish there were more strategy games on the PS3, but maybe with time, we'll get some more (games like RUSE prove that it can be done!)
Bla bla bla, to the point of the day:
So who is playing Borderlands right now? That game is awesome when playing online multiplayer with COMPETENT players. Most of the random players I meet haven't even figured out how to heal themselves, and I have yet to see someone throw a grenade. If you play Borderlands and have some brain cells you should ad me! (PS ID same as gamespot ID)

PC Gaming
You know, gaming on the PC would be just dandy-O if the friggin thing didn't crash so much. Every single game I play on the PC crashes. Some crash only once every 10-12 games, some crash 3 or 4 times a night, but every game crashes. In comparison, my PS2 has crashed maybe 3 times the entire time I have had it. With these stats in mind, if I didn't like PC games so much, I would never even bother. But, as anyone can attest I'm sure, it's quite obvious that there are crap loads of games that are generally only available on the PC (ie: Civilization and empire type games).
It's too bad PS2 really has no titles (at least here in north america) that can compare with these types of games, and well let's face it. Even my 3ghz celeron pc has graphics that absolutely blow the PS2 to hell. Some PS2 games look ok, but most do not. Bottom line...
I want a PS3!
