Well since MGS4 launched i've had a horrible time with MGO.. mainly because of the fact that it wasn't working.. the longest i had played was 30 seconds before getting disconnected... this happened at least 2 dozen times.. so a week ago i just stopped trying. I've been slowly growing tired of all the martyrdom and juggernaut users in COD4 over the past month, not to mention the frag spamming in wetwork, so in a fit of rage (after the same effing guy, with the same effing n00b t00b spawn killed me 4 effing times in a row) I kinda messed something up.. anyway the long and the short of it is the disc doesn't work anymore..

So i decided i'd give MGO one last chance, as usual, barely started a match (still managed 2 kills) and it stopped working... So instead of sending the disc to the same fate as COD4 i decided to mess around with my router.. low and behold, UPNP had been disable by my technologically illiterate father who had assumed he knew what he was doing... I re-enabled it, disabled the firewall, and reasigned my PS3 to its proper port... then ran the router and modem through a cycle...

*5 minutes, 2 pizza pops, and a can of coke later*

... I head back downstairs and boot up MGO, I get no errors while signing in.. things are looking good... no disconnections or anything while i scroll through the appropriate menus setting up my skills... I hit auto-matching, TDM, and it starts searching.. still no problems... the room fills.. the match starts.. *i'm practically holding my breath the whole time just waiting for something to happen*

...Well here i am after my first hour or so stint on MGO praising Konami for making such a wonderfull online mode in an already unbelievably perfect game, i don't quite have the hang of the sneaking game modes yet, but i'm loving every moment of it...

I don't know whats considered "doing good" on MGO, but so far i have 59 kills, 30 deaths, in 15 rounds.. so almost a 2.00 which i don't think is too shabby..

Anyone else have trouble with MGO?

PS. and i will be buying another copy of COD4.. although not new...

Well i just installed 2.40.. big ****** deal!

I was soo looking forward to this update (or more rather the believed contents of such), and had been since, well... since the day the PS3 launched..

In-game music, 2 words... (1 compound ) would it really be that hard for them to just get this done already... Sony has let me down again.. just when things were starting to look up..

and don't even get me started about the trophies not being retroactive!!!

*obscene words and gestures about 2.40 that would be an instant ban*

This is getting so effing annoying, i've been demoted by points loss at least half a dozen times back to level 27.. this time it was for ignoring the MGS4 sticky the stickies are so full of random that getting an answer in there takes forever..

I don't get why that was worth a points loss, I haven't had any previous sticky ignorations (maybe its a word ,) really pissed off about this one, i was getting so close to lvl 29...

Anyone else getting annoyed at how the mods have been handling things lately?

Finally... 10k posts.. it took a while but it was bound to happen eventually...

The only thing that bugs me now is that milestones of 1k no longer matter... i guess i'll just have to start posting alot more

Well it took longer than i would've liked but i finally got around to seeing Speed Race today, alot of my friends said it sucked, and that it got alot of bad reviews... i'd just like to say... WTF are they talking about?!?!?! I thought it was amazing, and action packed thrillride with no holds barred racing, with a great story, and with just a hint of teh lulz.

I would even go as far as to say that it was like if you took every color ever created, put them in a nuclear bomb filled with skittles, adrenaline, and pure untainted awsome, then took LSD and set it off in your backyard while you sat back on your deck and watched!!!

It was probably the best movie i've seen so far this year (excluding the undeniable glory that is.. TRANSFOMERRRSSSS!!!.) There was really nothing I didn't love about this movie, and not to mention it had one of my favorite actresses (Christina Ricci) who albeit underused, was wonderful in this movie..

Anyone else seen it???

lol, this one might not have been so bad though...

overall though i'm very happy with my final choice.
