It's better to burn out than to fade away.......

"The future makes no sense, if we cannot understand the past."

Happy Independence Day!! (100th Blog Edition)

Yo what's up everyone!! It's that time of year that we celebrate our nation's independence. Happy Independence Day, it's July 4!!!

What do you guys have planned today? I'm in my uncle's house right now and we'll be here all night I guess, watching the fireworks display on TV. Shame, I wanted to see live ones Oh well maybe next year.

Sorry I've been gone for a while. I actually served my dreaded GS suspension for a whole week, and I'm back now. Lol man I should be careful next time

So I got my stuff back, and I'm happy. I can finally finish playing Persona 3: FES. Been playing it for hours everyday since I got it back. I've also started playing MGS3: Snake Eater but I suck at it to tell you the truth, I've never played any MGS games before, so I'm still trying to get used to the whole thing. I don't know what I'll do for the rest of the summer, since I got once more month to go Shame...I wanted it to be longer...oh well.

So that's about it. Happy 4th of July again guys and gals. I'll be here from time to time. Peace!!

So anyways, I'm not totally grounded anymore, and I'm gonna get my stuff back in a month. Sucks, but at least I'm getting everything back. How's everybody doing right now? Hopefully everybody's having a good day like I am

asian_pride's Best Video Game Endings. Honorable Mention
Hello all Well I'm guessing you're wondering why I'm still doing this stupid thing. Lol I don't know really just for the hell of it I guess Basically, this part of the segment shows the 5 game endings who didn't make the top ten. Here goes:

#15 Resident Evil 4
-Zombies, zombies, zombies. In Resident Evil 4, it was damn good. Intense and scary as it is, the ending didn't disappoint. After you defeat Saddler, Ada makes you give her the sample, and mysteriously wonder why she survived at the beginning. Then she almost kills you and stuff...and Leon and Ashley make it off the island, and depending on how you did at the game, depends on how the ending will end.
Resident Evil 4 Boss fight and ending

#14 Jak II
-It stars Jak and Daxter on their second adventure where they're taken to the future via time rift. Jak eventually discovers that he's actually a resident of Haven City in the future, and he didn't actually exist in the past. And the kid, whom he encounters in the future, is actually Jak in his younger form. He then defeats the Metal Head leader and saves the world. What I liked about it is how the ending had a good plot twist and how the first one relates to the second one. Nice work Naughty Dog. Jak II was fun to play throughout, and had a fitting ending to it.

#13 Super Mario Bros. 3
-Mario games have been around long before most of us were even born yet, and revolutionized the way we look at video games today. I may be exaggerating, but that's just what I think, so deal with it. Who could ever forget that little Italian plumber who jumped, grabbed flags, ate mushrooms and grew big, and defeated a big dinosaur, all to save Princess Peach. I would have picked any of the Mario endings, but I guess they were all similar, since at the ending, Peach and Mario have their special moment together. Enjoy!

#12 Killer7
-One of the most surreal shooters ever to come out in the gaming world. Some of you know it, if you know SUDA-51, then you are pretty familiar with his work, one being No More Heroes. Ring a bell? He is also the creator of this surreal shooter. The story is very detailed, although it tends to confuse people at times. Although the ending was kind of a shock to me, when you find out that every member of the Killer7 syndicate was killed by Emir, and you find out at the end, Garcian is Emir, and he murdered these 6 personas before. As Garcian broke down, witnessing himself commit suicide, he opens the suitcase he always carries with him and figures out the final piece of his past memories. A bizarre ending for a bizarre game. #11 Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3
-Memento Mori. I guess this is the main theme of the Best PS2 RPG for 2007. Persona 3 had a cast of characters that most of us can relate to. You play a sullen, purple-haired boy who is orphaned and awakens a power called "Persona" in the game. It's kind of a second or "inner" soul of some sort. And the way to summon this Persona lies in the Evoker, kinda looks like a gun, but it's not really a gun. With it, they shoot themselves. In the head. Sounds fun...anyway, you go regularly to school, and fight Shadows in what they call the "Dark Hour". and as your school year unfolds, you are actually responsible from saving the world from Death. The Main Character sacrifices himself to seal Death away and saves the world, and at the cost of his own life. As everyone forgets about what happened, the Main Character gets another month to live. After the month is up, his friends start to remember that they were supposed to meet at the school rooftops when they graduate, and slowly, the MC falls into an eternal coma, a result from sealing Nyx away. What a sad way to end a game.

Well. That's it. Finally. It's over. There you go. Read 'em and weep. These are the ones that barely missed it. Bummer. Oh well lol That is all.

-Here it is. My number one favorite game ending of all time. I bet none of you ever played this game, since nobody plays RTS games anymore . Starcraft had a great story from beginning until the end. The way Tassadar sacrificed himself to save his Protoss people, save the humans, and even vanquish the Overmind. My kind of hero.

You think it's over!?! Yeah right. The game endings that didn't make the top ten are next. If you don't want to see it, fine. Whatever. I'm only doing this because I STILL have nothing to blog about, and for my own personal amusement hehe. If you want to stick around next time, then fine with me.

-Call of Duty 4 came out on November of 2007, and it has been a huge hit, receiving awards mostly for its outstanding, competitive online multiplayer features. Although the story was over pretty quickly, the ending had you feeling satisfied after playing through the campaign. It's intense from the get-go. You witness your buddies die in front of you, and you are in the brink of death, and suddenly Captain Price tosses you a pistol with his dying breath, which enables you to eliminate the threat, an thus, saving the world from a nuclear war. Now that's how you end a Call of Duty game.

**SPOILER ALERT!!**

*

-One of the most violent, bloody games I've ever played, and it does not disappoint. The anti-hero Kratos, a deeply troubled, violent, bloodthirsty, merciless (need I say more?) Spartan who worked for Ares, the God of War, ends up murdering countless people, that including his wife and daughter. His entire life fell after that, feeling extreme guilt over murdering his own family, thus becoming the Ghost of Sparta. Let's just say that he hasn't exactly led a happy life. Poor guy. But he turns things around when he sets out to kill Ares. When he was successful in doing so, he became the new God of War. What more could ask for a better ending than that?
