New reviews coming soon.
Just an update that I will be doing reviews again. I was going to do a Fallout 3 review but just never got around to it. Anyway my plan is to do a review for it and the upcoming Halo Wars. As always any feedback is appreciated.

Capthavic's Wasteland Survival Guide
1: Aim for the head.
If you want to inflict maximum damage always go for the head. Sometimes its good to cripple an arm or leg first if your taking heavy fire or need to slow a behemoth down, but otherwise it's best to drop them quickly.
2: Take EVERYTHING!
Seriously, take anything and everything that isn't bolted to the floor. Just because you can't use it doesn't mean its not worth a few caps. Always remember to loot bodies after ever battle and scour the area for anything useful. And reduce weight by repairing weapons and armor, you won't lose caps.
3:Conserve ammo.
Don't waste ammo and action points on targets that are too far away. Take the time to get close enough to actually hit what you're aiming at. And make sure you have a clear shot so you aren't wasting shots on a rock thats barely sticking out. Also don't waste powerful/rare ammo on weak targets. Using a mini nuke on a mole rat is just overkill.
4: Always take small arms.
Even if you're going to specialize in another combat skill, you're going to want it even as just a back up. Small arms are the most plentiful weapons in the game which means you'll always have spare parts and ammo. The hunting rifle and combat shotgun are excellent weapons against just about everything
5: Save early, save often.
By default the game will save after entering a new area, when you fast travel, and when you sleep/wait. But you should still save before/after a big battle and during long trips through the wasteland. Nothing sucks like getting squashed by a rampaging behemoth and losing everything you've done the last hour because you didn't save.

I just submitted my review for Dead Space. It would have been up sooner but my laptop has been acting up lately. Any helpful comments would be appreciated. Thanks.
