I realize I haven't posted a Blog post or posted on the forums for a long time now, so just thought I'd let the people who care know that I still live. Reason for not posting: got very disheartened from the Jeff Gertsman situation. I know that may sound lame but I just felt like I needed a gamepot break. I've been keeping myself busy by posting on Neogaf (under the same name). I check back on gamespot every once and a while.

I no longer have the XBL account name MOLE MAN21 I now have the name Prodigy6 . Add me if you want I mostly play Halo 3, just be sure to mention that you are from Gamespot if/when you send a friend request. Also my PSN is Prodigy21 , add that as well if you wish.

I may be back posting again (even though I don't do much of it.), I may not. We'll see..

This is just a short update,

I have been getting a lot of people trying to add me on XBL (MOLE MAN21) or PSN (Prodigy21), but they don't tell me how they got my gamertag. If you have any plans to add me just leave a simple message either on gamespot or on the friend invite saying "gamespot" or something along those lines. Thanks in advance.

On a completely different note i have been watching this very funny show called Odd Job Jack.It just aired its last episode (ever). If you like offbeat Canadian humour check it out. here is one episode. and here is another ten! (They are all legal and set up by the Comedy Network.)

Today on July 6th, 2007 I turned 18 and became an uncle to a baby boy! My new nephew's name is Jay I haven't been able to visit him yet but I will soon. Thats all for now I'm going to go celebrate a birth and a birthday.

After Sony's Gamers day it showed PS3 owners many things to look forward to or established games that we learned more about.  These are the ten games that are coming out in 2007 that I'm looking forward to (Games that are stated to be released in 2007 as of the date of this Blog and according to this site. Well those are the games in order I am most interested in. I will have to see if these games will turn out to be worth buying.  Any games you really looking forward to that are coming out this year?  That's it for now.

I have been hearing a lot of how unreliable the X-Box 360 has been.  I also have read that the PS2 has had faulty hardware.  Then I hear how people have had these consoles since launch and no problems.  I have had problems with consoles and handhelds alike so for this Blog I'm just going to run through my "defective consles".

The first gaming system that ever broke down on me was when I was six I believe.  It was one of those big gray original Gameboy's. I put in a game and it just didn't turn on anymore. It must have had problems playing Tetris and Dr.Mario but to be fair those games were intense.  I eventually got that replaced by the much cooler black version.

My first gaming death...

My next console that died on me happened ten years later in the year of 2006.  It was right about Christmas time in 2005 when my PS2 (the big one) started to freeze and not play some games on the first try.  I thought nothing of it and three months later I was trying to play God Of War (which I got for Christmas) and it wouldn't start so I tried a different game and again it wouldn't start and by now it was making a really loud whirring noise. Now right then and there I should have pronounced it dead and moved on but instead I did what every person would do in my situation...I smacked my PS2 around.  But a key thing I forgot was God Of War was in my PS2 still. So not only did I lose my PS2 that day but also god of war.  I bought the slim PS2 shortly there after.

My latest console tragedy...

Well I haven't had it to bad when it comes to consoles that have died on me.  I had my PS2 since the launch year with no problems and as for the Gameboy it lasted six years before it stopped working.  I enjoy all the comments (thanks Vyce3) and I am just wondering if any of you have had consoles die on you or have you been pretty lucky in that respect.  All comments appreciated.

Playing:  Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (playing it again), Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion (great expansive game just became a vampire)

Listening too: Evil Angel By Breaking Benjamin (The same guys who did the Halo 2 song), And Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is By Jet.
