  Summer approaching

  Summer is finally here in the UK at last. I doubt very much that we'll see our fair share of sunshine though. Regardless of how much sunshine we get, I'm just excited about my second baby boy due in July! I really cannot wait. I'd say we are prepared and both excited about holding him and doing all the things that made life a joy with our first boy. Now because I was hands-on with our first boy, I still remember all the skills of looking after my son so I don't feel nervous this time round.

  On another good note, we've finally managed to get rid of an idiot who was lodging with us just in time for our boy. That guy really was impossible to live with! After he moved out we discovered from his sister that he's lived with "7" other people and they have ALL ended in disaster with him! I just wished we foud that out before we agreed to share a house with a lazy, overweight tramp.

  Our house is coming on really well. I've cleared the garage of all its junk that we just threw in when we moved in. I also cleared some furniture we never used too so we've made more space around the home. The electrics have all been updated and we now have more power sockets and new lights! The other day I painted the house outside and covered up a ghastly salmon pink with a nice white.

  Work has been tough lately but I'm thankful I've had a holiday, although we haven't been anywhere I'm just content that we have sorted out the house ready for when the baby is here. I've applied for a transfer and I'm hoping to hear something about that soon so I'll keep my finger's crossed.

  New Year and a new home

  This year has been a rocket so far. I have moved into my new home which is closer to work and central so thats a bonus, aside from this house being twice as beautifal as the previous one. Although the house does need decorating, it does have carpets and is decotrated but all the old design remains.

  The move has made me feel better inside.

  The end of the summer before it even begun!

  I think it's official that this year's summer is over for us Brits. As far as i'm concerned we never had one!
