  publishers and development stuidios...

  Why do people give a damn where a game is developed and who publishes it?  Why don't people get all loud mouthed about what studio makes what film or what publisher publishes it?

  Seriously I've never heard anyone rag on a movie simply because it was made by paramount/fox/universal or whatever.

  so why are games and gamers so different?

  F**k you gamers.  you all suck.  cept me.

  been awhile...

  it has been several months since my last entry. A few things have happened since. The Secret World was released, I did enjoy it but I do fear for it's long term survivability...the content is minimal. Character progression is nice, stories are detailed. My time there is now over.

  Microsoft released windows 8 and the surface. I have win 8 on dual boot on my laptop. Nice OS if you have a touch screen, which I do not. It really seems like it's a reduced OS with limited functionality, I do like it though.
  Which makes me wonder what microsoft is going to do with the next generation of XBOX.

  I'd like them to release a games machine that utilizes keyboard and mouse and is programmable. With the way they are going about their other technologies (win8, surface and windows phone), it could be very likely that something like this will happen.
  If they made something like what the amiga was back in the day. A machine great for mulitmedia and could be programmed with C, or assembly. (plus others). Designing such a machine will encourage more youngens to pick up that programming book and learn to program and invent new stuff (for microsoft) for the future! Dreaming? maybe, possible, unlikely.

  lastly, Dreamfall chapters is finally under development! yay for Ragnar Tornquist. So I'm cancelling my TSW account and I will be sending that 15/month to Red Thread Games and the kickstarter they will begin.

  I've come to the conclusion that gamers are douchebag morons! Well I did come to this conclusion a very long time ago, but I just wanted to express it now!

  They're the biggest bunch of negative elitists wankers on the planet, and I'm ashamed to call myself a gamer.
