  Sorry if I don't blog for a week, I'm on holiday

  Well as I type this I'm on holiday (free internet ftw)

  And I guess I should of mentioned it in one of my previous blogs but I'm sorry, I just forgot

  Anyway want to guess where I am?

  ...

  Spain

  Again

  Well although its in spain again its a totally different one

  The holiday is for a week and we are staying in La Torre Golf Resort in a 5 star plus villa!

  

  Yeah, virtually every villa looks the same

  I dunno if I'm going to be playing any golf but the resort is amazing

  

  A shopping area in the resort, and yeah everything is ridiculously overpriced (although there is a normal supermarket in the resort)

  

  This is kind of what the villa looks like and trust me it is amazing

  Theres a medium sized swimming pool in the garden, a normal garden, those beach kinda chairs you lie down on, a huge living room with like a 40 inch tv with cable (I think thats what americans call it) and the bedrooms are huge and all have bathrooms and balconies.

  I also brought a bunch of magazines and my ds so I still have some gaming and of course my dad brought his laptop so I do have some time to go on gamespot, like now

  Anyway I return on saturday but probably won't have time to blog until sunday or monday.

  

  And during this holiday I've become a phantom hourglass addict. But now I'm trying to force myself not to play so I don't complete it too quickly

  Anyway thats it for now, I'll see you guys when I get back

  Phantom Hourglass is Phantastic

  Sorry for the bad pun

  But although I'm late I finally bought phantom hourglass

  And like I said in the title the game is amazing

  

  Well there was a lot of PS2 games that I didn't play anymore so I returned about 8 of them and got enough money to buy a ds game.

  And although there were other ds games that I would of liked to buy (Mario Kart, NSMB, Final Fantasy Revenant wings) people say that this is the best ds game out there so I decided to buy it

  And I don't regret it

  The opening cut scene is great and very funny, especially with the card cut outs explaining Wind wakers story

  I always wanted to play wind waker because of its great art ****and although I can't buy Wind Waker now I can experience the art ****with phantom hourglass

  And considering the ds's power is inferior to the Gamecubes the game captures windwakers look perfectly.

  

  

  When your playing its hard to believe this game is on the ds

  Definitely the best looking game on the console

  So far like every zelda game, the story is great and I love the sailing parts as although there are certain islands your supposed to go to you can easily just go off and sail to whatever island you want as there are many secret ones to discover

  The main thing about the game is the combat system which works perfectly

  Tap on the screen in the direction you want to go and link moves there

  You slash on the screen to use the sword and its very fun, although sometimes I worry that I'm going to scratch my ds screen luckily this hasn't happened yet

  My favourite touch screen control has to be the boomerang

  It works well and is very fun to use

  The best character in the game is linebeck by far

  The way he acts like such a big hero yet when you go in a temple he hides by his ship and makes link do all the work

  Hes such a jerk :@

  Still he is the funniest character in the game and is a great addition

  For those of you who own the game I'm on the part where you chase the ghost ship and then fog comes and blocks your way then you have to go back to that fortune teller to find out how to get through it

  

  The game is amazing and highly addictive

  My only concern is that people say its about only 15-20 hours long and I'm worried that I'll complete it too quickly

  And buying Phantom hourglass now is great timing for me as I just completed Metroid Prime Hunters

  The story mode only took 10 hours but I've played about 20 hours of multiplayer and intend to play more

  

  Oh yeah, the multiplayer in Phantom hourglass, although its not amazing its a great addition as it is very fun and the online play gives you a reason to play it as you can get your rank up

  I've only played one game but I won it

  Why so serious?

  Thursday night I saw The dark Knight

  And...

  T'was amazing...

  

  I know most people have seen the film but I'm slighly late

  But the film was epic

  Its not your average super hero movie

  Of course not its batman

  But I have to say the film was extremely dark

  Well I guess thats why they call it the dark knight

  Although Christian Bale plays great as batman (and his deep raspy batman voice is great) I have to say the Joker was the star of the show

  He was sick yet hilarious at the same time

  My favourite part has to be when he said he was going to do a magic trick by making a pencil dissapear

  If you haven't seen it I don't want to tell you what happens at that part but trust me its extremely funny

  I also loved the scene when batman interrogated joker as usually batman is quite a calm cool character but here he just loses it and attacks which was exciting to see

  

  But still the joker was incredibly sick in the film

  The amount of people he killed and the way he killed them was horrible yet great at the same time ;P

  I also loved how clever he was as every time someone got him he always had a way to get out of it

  But tbh he was quite freaky

  Still although he was freaky two face was the worst

  

  Two face/ Harvey dent was also a great character in the film

  Anyway the film was great and if you haven't seen it I advise you see it now

  Other News

  Well today on Sky Movies I also saw die hard 4 (couldn't see it in cinemas as it was a 15 :'( )

  I loved the older die hard movies and generally enjoy action films but this was absolutely stunning

  The fight scenes were great and the way they hacked the city was cool but the best scene was the truck vs plane scene

  In this scene Mclane is driving a truck and has a jet chasing after him

  And it was soo cool...

  I also loved the scene when he took out a helicopter with a car!

  

  

  This film is great and is recommended

  I also got another issue of nintendo magazine today

  Pretty good issue

  Cover story Animal Crossing City folk, has some good reviews like Sam And Max Season 1 (85%) and some great previews (Dead Rising Wii, Star Wars Force Unleashed, Lego Batman, Spiderman Web of Shadows and many different E3 games).

  The gift is also quite good, a case to hold ds games and Nintendo playing cards

  Overall a good issue
