  Last of the Summer Movies

  Well, just got registerd today. I realized I havent blogged in a while so i got a lot to say.

  Pinapple Express was great. I was expecting it to be hilarious with a garbage storyline, but it was pretty good storyline. The movie was hilarious and I loved it, definitely my favorite summer movie.

  Harold and Kumar 2 was cool. I thought it ended soft though, nothing real funny for like the last 30 minutes.

  Get Smart turned me into a Anne Hathaway fan, wow i was impressed if you know what I mean.

  I just need to see Tropic Thunder and The Mummy now. Ill see them saturday.

  Ahh...The Movies

  Well Well Well, its summer. Its been summer for a while now and im not impressed. Ive seen these summer movies that are supposed to be great but I leave the theater and im not going crazy about any of them. This is what ive seen...

  1. Iron Man
  2. Hancock
  3. The Hulk
  4. The Dark Knight

  Now none of those movies made a fan of me. Im not a comic book guy but when I saw spiderman I became a fan. Its weird when I saw Batman Begins I HATED BATMAN because of that movie. So here comes Dark Knight which would have been good but It was 2 long, we had kids sleeping in there. Not to mention that Batmans a **** Here comes the Jokers, he kills his girl and what does he do...LET HIM LIVE!!!!!!!!!!! Wow WTF? Dark Knight was good but that chick couldnt replace Katie Holmes. Heath Ledger was incredible though, like i though everyone said that since his incident but wow, i think that was the first time i saw great acting.

  Batman gets a 4 out 5.

  Hancock sucked. It was hilarious at the beginning then it got gay when he got nice. Which was the point of the movie but I didnt like it, the first hour i was excited. Then its all star warsy and shes says Hancock im your sister. Boo-hoo who cares that killed this movie completely.

  Hancock gets a 3 out of 5.

  The Hulk was my favorite movie so far. It wasnt great but after Hulk 2003 it felt amazingly good. I thought it was horrible when he risked his life to jump out the plane and fight the abomination cause he was "cured" and no one would do that. For a fake movie thats the most unbelievable part.

  Hulk gets a 4 out of 5.

  Iron man was a really good movie. However its like Hulk 2003. Theres really no villain, so its lame . The villains just his old suit so thats wackness. the last fight sucked but then again that was the only fight, he was just wreckin terrorist the whole time.

  iron man gets a 3 out of 5.

  IM GOING TO SEE: The new X-Files, Harold and Kumar, HellBoy, Get smart, Love Guru(I think its already done though)

  Cant wait for Avengers

  Spurs Draft Results

  Round 1

  Pick #26: George Hill, Guard, IUPUI

  Round 2

  Pick #45: Goran Dragic ,Guard, Slovenia

  Pick #57: James Gist, Forward, Maryland

  Well, thats who we drafted. I cant say im pleased right now. George Hill seems like a good kid, but why did we draft him? Chris Douglas-Roberts of Memphis was on the board and so was Darrell Arthur of Kansas. This pick doesnt seem to make any sense to me. We pick the kid from a D2 school over an All American who played in the championship game. I really dont know what they were thinking on this one but I pray that he does well. Then, as we all expected we drafted international guard Goran Dragic and of course i hated it but in the video reel of him, he seemed like a really fast guy with quick hands. I was actuaslly liking the pick BUT.... we ended up trading him to the Phoenix Suns for cash and Malik Hairston out of Oregon. Then came our best pick of all night, James Gist the Terp!!! I really wanted a big and hes not that but hes the closest thing we got tonight. This was our best pick all night and im excited for this kids future, if he gets minutes. Im really upset about our first pick but other than that im not furious like I was last year.

  So at the end of the night we leave with Malik Hairston, James Gist and George Hill.
