Summer is over, and winter is just around the corner. We all know what that means. All the good games are coming! I can safely say that this fall is one of the very best in recent years when it comes to highly anticipated game releases. Mine might differ from others, but I'll post a few I am definitely looking forward to.

Halo 3 - Who ISN"T waiting for this one?

Assassin's Creed - The demos and trailers look incredible. Who doesen't get tired of playing assassins, especially assassins that look as good as the main protaganist in this one.

Mass Effect - It's Bioware. I don't think I have as much faith as I do in Bioware for any other company. Wait...I know I don't.

Eternal Sonata - So it's a typical looking Japanese RPG...right? Wrong. It has a famous composer's work in it. Beautiful environments, and a cool battle system. OK, so maybe it is nothing ground breaking, but it certainly seems to be worthy enough to be mentioned.

Crysis - Watch the trailers, look at the screenshots. Maybe it does have a crappy story. Who cares! How many of you will be playing this for the story? P-l-e-a-s-e. Can you say eye candy?

World in Conflict - Aims to quicken the pace of the online and offline RTS. Huge scale, beautiful visuals, and nuclear weapons. The explosions are top notch. The carnage is massive. We all loved Red Dawn. Now we can play that scenario outto our hearts content.

There are a LOT of other cool games being released, but the ones listed here are my creme of the crop. A few note worthy games that have just been released or are going to be released this year are... The Witcher, Bioshock, Army of Two, Kane and Lynch, Sim City Societies, and Enemy Territory:Quake Wars.

What does all this mean? Burnt pockets, and misplaced cash. Also, the fine art of balancing all of this game play into a busy work schedule!
