Museum trip + photos
Hi everybody. I have been busy with so many things happening that I have not been able to do a new blog until now. First Photobucket decided to hate me and band all my photos so I had to move all my photos to another website. ImageShack is not as good but it will at least hold my photos and not band them.

On Saturday I went to the city to The Museum of Modern Art with my friend Ed. We took the train there and it was a lot easier to walk to the train station then to find a parking spot.
Anyway we got to the museum and we went to see two exhibits and to hang out in the Sculpture Garden with many different sculptures and an audio tour on some of them.
The first exhibit was called Dali; Painting and Film. This exhibition presents collaborations between Dali and legendary filmmakers displayed alongside his paintings and other works. Did you know that Dali worked with Marx Brothers, Alfred Hitchcock, Luis Bunuel, and Walt Disney? I went to the website and copied some pics from this cool exhibit.

The next exhibit we looked at was Picasso Sculpture. This focused on his three-dimensional objects and covers the different mediums he worked with. It was great looking at the many different sculptures Picasso created and he used many different materials such as wood, lead and plaster. I took some pics of the cool sculptures and I also copied from the website some more pics.

Vacation trips + photos
Hiking Trip
I wanted to share all the cool places I went to when I was on vacation. I went hiking at Bear Mountain and this time around the hike was much longer and me and my friend were so tired that we had to take the road back to the car toward the end of it. It was a lot of fun and I got some great exercise. And on the plus side I saw two deer while walking back and it was cool.

We did get lost but we managed to get back to the right trail and that's all that counts. Even though it was a bit longer than we had figured the hike would take I thought it was cool and fun.

Sky line.

Me looking goofy as usual.

Sesame Place
Next we went to Sesame Place. Unfortunately it took 3 and half hours to get there so we were a little tired and wanted to have some fun. The first ride we went on Sky Splash where the freezing cold water awaited us at the end of the ride.
We did get wet and it was cool. Then we went on roller coaster called the Vapor Trail. It was a lot of fun. Then onto the Big Bird's Balloon Race. You get very dizzy on that ride.
Then another water ride, Bert & Ernie's Slip and Slide. That you get completely soaked and again the freezing cold water awaits you at the bottom of the pool. Glad I bought my towel with me.

We went on Nets & Climbs but David did not like it so we had to stop after half way though. I had a lot of fun doing that.
We saw a show at Abby's Paradise Theater called Abby Cadabby's Treasure Hunt. We went on the Vapor Trail again and this time we were at the back of the ride which was super cool.

Then of course we had to stay for the Parade with all the characters in it. I took some pics of it and of the cool bushes that made up of some of the characters. There was a ride with Bert and Erie but it was closed but I took a pic of that. And the Sesame Neighborhood had a fire truck in which you can sit in so I had David take a pic of me in it. I had a lot of fun and too bad we did not have enough time to do all the things I wanted. At least I bought a small stuffed Grover. I took a pic of it so you can see how cute he is.

Me in the fire engine car.

Bert and Ernie fishing. This ride was closed BTW.

Look at these cool bushes they had at SP.

More cool bushed to look at.

Can't have a parade without Big Bird.

Concerts I went to + photos & videos
Band Concert
I went to another Hunting Community Band Concert at the Huckster Park. The theme was "It's a Small World, The BIG Finale, & Time to Say Goodbye". It was terrific and I had a lot of fun watching my friend perform in the band. As a special treat there was a Bass Quintet before the show.
They were great and it must be quite nerve-wracking to be playing for a group of people where they can hear you make a mistake because there was only 5 of them. Next was the whole band with many cool numbers.
Some of the more memorial ones was the Disney at the Movies and I would say I know at 1/3 of them.
Then The Beatles where the conductor had about 20 songs picked out. I only recognized a hand few of them but it was outstanding and very cool to listen to.
For the finale they played The Stars and Stripes Forever where they had a cannon and was used at the end of the song. It was very loud but cool to see. I was glad I went.
For amusement, there was this white duck that wanted to be a part of the fun and kept coming into the closed area for food.
I think he was escorted out three times. It was very funny watching him beg for food.
I wish I could of taken a picture of it but I forget to bring my camera with me.
Rock Concert

On Wednesday I went to the STONE TEMPLE PILOTS concert at the Jones Beach Theater. They rocked and I love how energetic they were.
They played all their hit songs and some that may be new since they are making another album.
A list of the songs that you may recognize are Vasoline, Interstate Love Song, Still Remains, Pretty Penny, Big Empty, Dead & Bloated, Creep, Plush, Lady Picture Show and Big Bang Baby. There was a lot of people there and it is so cool to see how even though they have not been around for a while people still love them and remember their songs.
I had a great time and I wish I could of gotten a T-shirt but it cost $50 and I did not want to pay that much for a T-shirt.
I do have the ticket that I will keep to remain me of the awesome time I had.
BTW the opening act sucked big time.
I think the only song that I liked was the last song they played before they got off the stage.
The music was good but they did not act like they were performing for a large crowd of people.
They just stood there and played their instruments and sang their songs.
I guess that is why they are an opening band.
So if you see Black Rebel Motorcycle Club opening up for a band run the other way and come back when they are done.
