  Dead Space Errors

  I just watched the Dead Space movie prequel and i have to say there are a few continuity errors that are really bugging me. I know its nitpicking but it bothers me that someone let these oversights get through. Also some spoilers. Okay in the movie there is a sequence that is highlighted that the escape pods on the Ishimura are being launched so that no one can escape after the infestation. They make a fairly exaggerated point of saying something like, "Oh no, thats all the escape pods!" yet during the game an escape pod leaves the ship carrying a necromorph that infects the valor causing it to crash into the ishimura. This is a fairly large plot point. Is there something that im missing here. They made such a large point of saying all the pods were gone that it feels rather lazy to mess this up.

  The other thing that bothered be was the fact that there is no clear size for the marker. In the movie its pretty massive, like as tall as a 2 story house. In the game it is significantly smaller when the crane lifts it out of holding and appears even smaller in the next scene when you drag it to the ship (though this one may be an optical illusion because its on its side).

  Update: Why cant the Necromorphs get near the Marker inthe movi, i mean they had to keep a pretty serious like 20 ft radius, but in the game as soon as you get the marker (and stand well within 20 ft of it for the next 2 chapters), the necromorphs cant seem to get enough of your sweet bod, i mean they reaqlly start stacking up

  Flower conundrum

  Im currently having a conundrum regarding the game flower. See this year i like in a dorm, blocking with 9 other guys. How do i go about buying and playing a game like flower with maintaining some semblence of masculinity. As you know males in their late teens and early 20s are somewhat of a b@11 busting group, and even those who would pontentially appreciate the game under these circumstances will hop of they wagon to try to take attention away from the time they evacuated their bowels in bed, or fell asleep nude at the computer. I will have to think deeply on this

  Christmas

  With all this free time ive been posting a bunch lately. Got Dead Space for christmas and im somewhere in chapter 3 right now, i have to say im really really enjoying it. This was a game i heard about quite a long time ago but i didnt have the money or the time to pick it up earlier, so im very pleased to finally get it. THis is definetly my favorite survival horror game this year, as i was very disappointed with silent hill homecoming, and was kinda meh toward siren. This game feels very much like one of my old favorites John Carpenters: The Thing. I had it for ps2 i dont know what else it was one but its a game (and movie) i would definetly recommend to anyone who like the horror genre at all. Im still hoping to get Fallout 3 and Valkyria Chronicals but we shall see. I hope other people got some good games, Cheers.
