  Unexplained absence - Back from Eucadia

  Well it's been a while ... probably since before christmas so I thought I'd put some kind of explanation for my absence.

  I've been lost in the world of Warhawk. OK, so there are a million and one shooting games out there but none that have held me in captivity like this explosive title from Incognito.

  Seriously, I've found myself play this for 24hrs straight, only stopping for a glass of water. I know all the manuals say that you should take a break every 20 minutes or something but did they stop to consider the fact that there's a war on? No.

  I'm impressed with my stamina, but not with my sensibility here. I have sinced applied a 20hr/day limit so at least I get some sleep.

  I really didn't intend to get so absorbed in this game. I'm not quite sure how it happened.

  So there you are, my absence fully explained, I was simply in Archipelego standing on landmines too often.

  PS the new expansion pack (Broken Mirror) is well worth the extra cash. Much better than the previous DLC.

  Motorstorm Update

  Well I can't say that I was as impressed with mirror mode as I had been led to believe that the tracks were actually backwards and not L/R swapped. I guess the clue is in the title. After being so used to the original tracks the mirror mode is totally baffling in places as your brain wrestles with providing the correct action in the right direction. Shame it's only for online though

  Devil's crossing was pretty good, looking forward to the next installments.

  2.10 + Warhawk Omega Dawn

  FInally an update worth downloading.

  DivX at last. This one should swing things back in favour of the PS3.

  I've been out of the loop for while due to the insanely addictive WarHawk! Probagame I've had so far. It keeps you going with the insanely time-consuming ranking system. Still have a long way to go to get to Second Lt. maybe get there before 2008 but not bad considering I've only had it a couple months.

  The dropship is the nizzle; somebody swooped in last night and picked me up in the tank and dropped me right were I needed to be. Well done and a huge thanks to Incognito for providing the best update available on PSN yet ))
