Thanks to the heat around here - today 98, yesterday 110, 90's for almost 2 weeks before that. - I've been in a rather lazy mood, thus none of the outside things I planned to do for this break have gotten done, besides mowing the lawn at 8:30 the other morning even hot then, already in the high 80's before I started.

So I was sitting here thinking maybe I should do some of the TV ep reviews that I'd been thinking of doing, got about 70 eps noted in Word, I could do, but I don't know if I really want to do them or not

Little Bit has gotten so big, she is taller and longer then Bazil, and taller than Vans. She is one crazy cat. Still likes to play with the paint brushes, to the point where I can't brush her with the hair brush but can with the paint brush .

get this. The other day I was looking for a vid to watch - the cable was out AGAIN - and I found one called "Cat-Nip", asked mom about it, she said the lady at work gave it to her for the cats. So I stuck it in the player, just to see what it was, all it was was vids of birds, squirls, and a chipmunk - dull city, but the second Bit saw it she was glued to the TV her head bobbing up and down following the birds as they hopped around and flew around. If that wasn't bad enough, Van started to watch, they were sitting next to each other, started to move at the same time, even ducked when the birds flew toward the camera Bit sat there for the ENTIRE 30 min it was on, Van was there for about 15 min, Bazil could have cared less about it. I've got to put it on again, try and get a picture of them sitting there.

And even better. We spent all of Sunday cleaning the carpets, mom was sooooo happy they were finally clean, kept doing the "don't put that on my clean carpet" thing after. Well, this morning, one of the cat yacked all over it So much for a clean carpet

Still no word on a roommate yet So either I don't have one - oh how I hope I don't, or I do and they haven't bothered to E-mail or call me to let me know.

**This started as a semi whatever blog to kind of off and on Ranting So you have been warned

Oh, I've been soooooooo freaking mad this week - 8 days- . So as I stated in my last little blog that when I left school the net was going to be hooked up on Tuesday - LAST FREAKING TUESDAY. We still have the modem, the computer and modem are still connected, all they have to do is turn on the service at the office and have the tech turn on the box here and check the signal.

Last Tuesday started out with me getting up early - 7:30, they should have been here between 8 and Noon, but never showed. Then they call and switch it to Friday that day comes and goes, again they call, now it wouldn't be until Monday, again NOT Hooked up and they call and switch it to Wens - TODAY, and the guy finally showed up an hour ago to reconnet it. He was here for all of 10 min - not kidding. What I want to know is why they couln'd get someone up here for a 10 min thing over the last week and why they saw no issue in bumbing us back over and over. If he wouldn't have shown today, I'd have walked down to the office and yelled at someone.

Atleast they dropped the price by 20$ for the month - now only 3 weeks of break left. If this was a "real" city - like Spokane or Seattle, Auburn..... anywhere that isn't Moses Lake, we would have just gone to a different company after the first day change, but this stick of a city only has 1 cable/internet company so they can pull that crap.

Not haveing the many hours of the net to take up my time, I got to watch a whole lot of TV/Movies.

Finally saw:
Vacancy - good, dull in spots, but not bad,
Squirm - wish I could Un-see this one, it was just a bad rip-off remake of THE NIGHT OF THE CREEPERS,
Zoom - so-so, it was cute for a family movie, but not one to watch over and over.
Pirates 3 - so-so, it was just so-so for me.
Spiderman 3 - not so good,
Number 23 - it was predictable but good, like to see Jim as more dark characters
Night at the Musieum - Cute and funny, good for a family flick
and a half dozen others - that must not have been so good, cause I can't remember the titles

Becoming adicted to a show called Ninja Warior on G4 it is a great show, and they show several eps a day, so I've been able to catch up on the last 7 "seasons" For those of you who don't know what it is - it is a fitness challenge show, 100 start, eliminations, the contestants have to complete 4 stages, the first and second ones are timed, the third isn't but it is way harder, and not sure about the 4th stage cause at this point noone has made it to the final round in the seasons I've seen - but from what the preview for tomorrow there will be someone to make it, and it looks like it is timed.

Also been playin' some old school Super Nintendo and N64.

Getting DEVOUR ordered it on Friday, should be here by the end of the week, or start of next, not sure.

Grades for last quarter are in - A,A,B,B,C+ *happy dance*

Don't know yet if I'm getting a roommate, yet.

Family ISSUES:

So I'm a new cousin 2 times over. My one cousin had her baby about 1 1/2 ago, a girl, and noone bothered to tell us until the kid ( Madison ) was about 3 weeks old. My grandfather just happened to mention the baby while talking to my mom, when she said we didn't know about the baby his response was "well, everyone else knew so we just figured you knew too." I reminded her that noone told us she was preg until like 4 months in and we got the "thought you knew" line then, so what did she expect

Another one of my cousins and his girlfriend/ex-girlfriend ( don't know what the heck she is at this point ) just had a baby boy ( Ryan ) - on Father's day no less. When they sent us a picture of him they included a picture of Madison - because we hadn't gotten her picture yet.

And to add to the family tension. My mom and her youngest brother don't really get along well, havent' for a long time. Well a couple of weeks back, when grandma was in the hospital, he made the mistake of calling my mom and asking "So, when are you going to come over here and help take care of her?" As if he was 1. the only person caring for her - when both my other aunts were there helping and 2. My mom and I cared for her for over a year - at some points by ourselves for weeks at a time- when she had her strokes, so he has no right to act as if all of the sudden him getting off his butt and helping for the first time in the nearly 10 years of her medical problems gives him the right to talk to her like that. Anyway, she told him off, and hung up on him. Well on Sunday - last week - when mom and I were getting ready to drive back here from Auburn, he calls grandma's house to ask if we were driving the grandparents to the BBQ? And her response was "What, BBQ?" He tells her it was the BBQ that they had been planning for weeks, at his house, that AGAIN everyone knew about it, that he told grandma to tells us about it, blah blah blah, even grandma gets pissed at us because we didn't know about it, that she told us about it - the woman has the memory span of like 10 second, she never told us, cause if she would have mentioned it we'd have come up with a way out of it We had to get back to ML that day cause mom had to work first thing the next day, and the BBQ didn't start until after 5:30PM

We didn't know anything about the thing, so now everyone is mad at us because they say we didn't want to join in on a family thing give me a freaking break, they don't talk to us, don't tell us when things are going on, but the second we call them on it we get the anger.

I think that's about it for now. Have a ton of news, blogs, and threads to catch up on.

I just finished my last clas for the qtr *happy dance* and I'm on my way back to the apartment to pack for break. The internet won't be back up at mom's until Tuesday - not sure if in morniing or at afternoon - so no net until then.

Lately the wheather around here has been refered to as "Juneuary", due to the storms, the cold, and the freaking fact that it is SNOWING again, the pass got almost a foot Monday - only a week and a half until SUMMER starts. And I am done with it, I want the warmer temps already!!!!!!!!

Looks like my break will be a month long after all, still no word if I got the internship, but if she hasn't called by now I figure I didn't get it. So no DVD's, real food, or even chance at making a Con . Oh well.

Still trying to work it so when mom comes to get me this weekend I can avaoid going to the grandparent's house for 2 days I love them and all, but after the Finals week I've had, I just want to go home and hug my cats. I'm not looking forward to getting yelled at by my grandmother for not calling her every stinking day, cause it's not like she'd remember if I did anyway. I'm just getting so tired of her harping at me each and every time I see her, you know, "Why don't I call" - duh I'm in clas most nights until 10, "Why don't I eat when I'm at her place" - duh I can't eat black pepper and she covers everything with it when she cooks, "Why don't I have a boyfriend" - duh right now I'n not looking for one I've got enough drama with school and don't wanna add a guy to the mix, "When am I gonna have kids like my cousins" - duh I don't want kids anytime soon - this of course is something that pisses her off anytime I remind her of the fact... not to mention having to repeat EVERYTHING I SAY 6 or more times, and at the end of the quarter I have no tollerence for that stuff, so it is either I don't see her or I'm gonna snap at her.

Plus I have to work it in a way that I don't flat out tell mom I don't want to see my grandparents, cause it will piss her off and I get the "They're not going to be around forever" speach again.

First. I finally made it over the 4,000 mark

So my last 3 days has been super busy, to say the least.

On Wen during my final Portfolio Clas, someone - JQ - from a local company came in to talk about 5 open intern spots at the company. The job would consist of doing Flash based E-Learning vids for their company products. Basically a ton of code work. So I went in for the quicky 5 min interview in a side room, and that night I got a call back for a 2nd interview - normally a good sign

I had the interview today, and things seemed to go well. So by Monday I should know if I got it - sounds like I will. If I do, my month long break will be cut down to 2 weeks, as I'd start on July 7th. It could last from 3 months to 6 months, or even longer, and there is a chance that some of the internships could turn into hired on full jobs

The place is only a couple of blocks - 9 - from where I live so no commute PLUS!!!!! IT IS A PAID INTERNSHIP I'd love to have some money, money = food and food + . Not to mention, I'd have money to buy a certin DVD set when it comes out and a few more

Onto the zoo. I must have some strange luck when it comes to going to the zoo, because something strange/funny always happens. The first time the we almost drownd a stupid penguin and a dork ran around in a ape costume he snuck in. This time I watched a teen try and get eaten. And to make the day even better, I got in for free with my student ID.

So last friday for the Advanced Life Drawing clas we had to go to the Seattle zoo to draw animals - duh. Well, me being a person who would rather now draw, I took my camera and was just taking pics the whole day, will draw the stuff later. Well about two hours, or so, into the trip I went back to the Snow Leprd pen, to try and get some better pics of it - it finally got sunny and the animals were out. Well there was this lady and her 2 teen kids with her. The animal had moved from the area of the pen with the glass observ area to the part with a chainlink fence and was pasing back and forth. Now in this area the animal is at the same level as the people and the fence is only about 3 feet from the safety rail, so if you lean forward you can grab the fence.

And that is exactly what the boy kept doing, trying to grab the fence. I swear the cat was taunting the kid on, cause it would stop and purr and then rub on the fence. Anyway, so he keeps reaching for the fence, and could get 1 finger just to it, while leaning halfway over the rail. The whole time his sister keeps egging him on, even tells him to step over the rail and get closer, but the mom was freaking out about how she didn't want to spend the rest of the day at the hospital because he got his hand bitten off, yet she never told him to stop. Then she would look over at me and say "And she'll get a picture of it to sell to the news" and I told her "Why take a picture of it, when I've got video on this thing?"

Well, about 15-20 min of this goes on, and finally the girl couldn't take it anymore, she couldn't convince her brother to go over the rail so she decides to hop over. BIG FREAKING MISTAKE!!!! In an instant the walking back and forth goes from being all nice and cute to I WANNA EAT YOU *****, he focused his attention on her, stayed in one small spot, started to snarl, his ears were back, his tail stiff. I swear when she came back over the rail she didn't even touch it, she was up in the air and across the walking path in a split second. All three of their faces were stone white, and she was shaking like a leaf. My first though was if she would have been bit it would have been her own darn fault, the second was, "Sh!t, my camera didn't record it" cause oh, would I have sold that to the news in a heartbeat

But other than that the day wasn't too event filled.

As for school.

I've only got 5 clases this week and 3 next week to go *Happy Dance* Then I have an entire MONTH of no clases

Today I turn in my final projects for the Portfolio 1 clas and don't have to come back next week. My Anilitical clas tonight will just be a test and hand in a research paper, with next week only needing to come in and hand in my 30+ page story.

Thursday clases the 3D one is done this week, with next week not having one because the grads have portfolio day. Then the Digital clas, we just work this week, and next week we should only be in clas for like an hour or so to show our final projects. Oh, I haven't told you guys about that one gotta remember to do that in a second.

And Friday, we draw this week, and we show our books next week and we're done.

Ok, final project in the After Effects clas, got four words for you - ZOMBIES EAT MY BRAINS - yes, zombies eat my brains. We did some green screen filming a couple of weeks back, so we could put ourselves in a scene, and me being me, it involves dead things and blood - go figure When it is done I might just post it on YouTube or something, but not sure.

And as for other stuff.

I think I'm gonna go see "The Strangers" this weekend, it looks good, kind of, and people keep telling me how "scary" it was. Don't know if I'll take there word for it or now, cause people are always telling me a movie is scary, but when I see them they are dull. Think it comes from a life of watching soooooooooooooooooooooo many scary movies.

And I AM totally going to go see "The Happening" when it comes out M. Night's first "R" rated movie, oh heck yeah!!!!!!

I got the second on the new SN Origins comics. Have to admit it was kind of a let down, compared to the first one, still good, but not as. And the demon/train/transformer/thing at the end WTF? where the heck did that come from?

Oh, so I have become very addicted to two sites: http://jraunlimited.com/ and http://www.super.repro-network.net. I have gotten enough images off the two sites over the last week to fill 3 full CDs Talks about JA and JP goodness
