  Finally...A new desktop

  So today I finally went and got a new desktop.

  Awesome I know.

  Its got a 17'' Flat screen moniter.

  1GB RAM. Intel Celeron 2Ghz. WinXP. 160GB HD + 100GB Slave HD

  Its perfect so I can get all my crap done.

  Laptop Update

  So if you saw my last blog post, I mentioned that I needed a Virus scanner and what not.

  Doing nearly all of the things you guys told me, I did clear a lot of junk out and get some space. But It didn't help speed my laptop up one bit.

  I decided to obtain a Windows XP Home Edition SP3 Disc. I popped it in the laptop and did what I had to do to reformat it and basically update it since I couldn't get SP3 on it anyway since it had a lot of issues to begin with.

  It used to never say 797Mhz. It used to say 1.3Ghz.

  I'm now thinking my processor acting up or something.

  Anyway help with this would be quite amazing.

  Virus Scanner Help

  So my laptop slowed down for some odd reason in the past week. And I ran a virus scan with avast! anti virus and it was uber slow, so I removed it and got AVG and i've ran about two scans a day and its only come up with tons of tracking cookies. And its just odd that my laptop randomly slowed down like this. So what virus scanners do you recommend.

  I will not use McAfee and Norton is kinda ify.

  I need some help i've got to last till September until I get my new desktop.
