I just finished Metal Gear Solid 4...
I can't even begin to express my feelings... Complete shock, awe, and sadness. But also relief and a sense of satisfaction. I think that's a good place to start.
All I can say is wow, I don't know how someone could possibly come up with this, but Hideo is a genius. I've always loved the MGS series (it all began on MGS for the PSX) and I've followed it along. I know I'm a little late in the "I Finished MGS4!!!!111!1!11" game, but there are reasons for that. But this has been my favorite series along with Silent Hill and Halo, but this series blows everything else out of the water. This game ALONE does that.
I can write for hours about this game, the ending, how it all worked out and my opinions, but unfortunately I have to go to bed, work tomorrow 0.o I will say this. Metal Gear Solid 4 is a piece of art that should never be forgotten. The series should always be remembered. Whether for the graphics, the story, the gameplay. Doesn't matter. It's all top notch. Myfavoritegame of all time, my favorite series, and by far, probably one of the VERY FEW games that actually deserve a 10/10, *****, 100/100, or whatever grading system you want.
Truly a classic, a generation definer, and one of the best, most impressive pieces of storytelling and art, ever.
