Most of the main characters are based off of members of GS's own yuri fan club.

"All right," Debora said. "I'm here, what were you having trouble with?"

"I can't remember the formulae," Kitty said.

"Is that all?" Debora asked. "All right, let's try some mnemonic devices. For example, the sine is the opposite divided by the hypotenuse or S=O/H. If you assign words to it like, Sonic is an Ongoing Hedgehog, it might be easier to remember. Now, for the cosine..."

"What's up with you and Debora anyway?" Amanda asked.

"In what sense?" Mischa inquired.

"You know what I'm talking about," Amanda said. "You two spend a lot of time together. You always answer her texts. She was sleeping on your lap..."

"We're friends. Her texts never use "leet" speak or otherwise butchered language and she was tired," Mischa said. "There's nothing strange about any of it."

"Do you like her?" Amanda asked.

"In what sense?" Mischa inquired.

Kody was lonely. It wasn't something he'd be willing to admit, but it was true. Mid-term exams were coming up so club activities had been temporarily suspended. He missed seeing everyone, but he had to study. His grades were good and he wanted to keep them that way. Still, it would be nice for them to still be able to meet every day.

Leonard was probably putting off his studying for the competition and Mischa was probably going to use his usual strategy of glancing over his notes once to make sure he remembered everything. He envied them sometimes. Leonard didn't mind if his grades weren't spectacular and Mischa had to make very little effort to keep his high. He always said it was a simple matter of paying attention. Sometimes Kody wanted to shake him and shout "It doesn't work that way for normal people!"

Maybe they could get together for study sessions or... That was it! Kody picked up his phone and hurriedly dialed.

"What's up, Kody?" Mischa asked on the other end.

"I was thinking that maybe it would be a good idea for all of us to get together to study for mid-terms," Kody said, nervously.

"It sounds good to me," Mischa said. "I'll talk to everyone else about it and get back to you."

"Okay, thanks," Kody said. "Bye."

"What was that ring tone?" Amanda asked.

"Quatre and Trowa's duet," Mischa answered. "Kody thinks we should get together for study sessions."

"It might be a good idea," Amanda said. "Especially since someone hasn't been doing much studying." She looked over at Leonard who didn't give any indication that he was listening. "Let me know when you set everything up, I have to head home and get some studying done."

Looks like everyone's occupied. Will they get together in order to study? Will those sessions actually involve studying? Will Leonard win his upcoming challenge? Just how nerdy can mnemonic devices get? These questions may or may not be answered next week in Soniczero's blog.
