I'll have a Sasparilla, and a shot o' Sprunk for the lovely lady, darn toot'n

Well, I now have the interwebs back all good and proper again. After two months absence, I have mostly missed playing games online, and have been occupying most of the gaming time with Fallout 3 and its add-ons (about 150 hours all up). The rest was split up between Mass Effect 2, Crackdown and the Bad Company 2 campaign.

I have three more agility orbs to collect (out of 500) in Crackdown, and cannot find them anywhere. GRRRR, now I know how Hitler felt when he got banned from xbox live. Mass Effect 2 was pretty good for a sequel, and considering that it's going to be a part of a trilogy, I'm not sure what they are going to do with so many characters for the third game. When i get the xbox live set up, I'm eager to see how much better the multiplayer of Bad Company 2 is compared to the first. It will no doubtly be better than both campaigns.

Not sure if i stuffed up or there was a glitch, but I went hunting for all the rest of the Riddler's clues in Batman AA, and there are (wait for it) three chattering teeth that I can't seem to find in the mansion in order to finish.

I've played a bunch of other games, but as I sit here and type, nothing really comes to mind to immediately comment upon.

Got Borderlands the other day, l've played about two hours in and am enjoying it so far. I just hope there more to the missions than fetching things. Can't wait for some online co-op, eat your Pork'n'Beans later cuz' we've got some movement folks so get your melon poppers out, action!

Looking ahead, Red Dead Redemption, Metro 2033 and Alan Wake on the list to get. Just Cause 2 is looking pretty fun too. Although, my attention will be quite invested in the World Cup.

So, cheers to the boys heading over to South Africa, and here's hoping that they won't have any bad luck in regards to the number three!

Hello, blue screen, my old friend. I'll have to format you again.

Hey all. Well, I've not had the internet for the last three weeks or so. I will also probably not have it in the short term future. long story. Anyway, just wanted to say that I'll still be kicking around the site and forum, just not as regularly. As things are, it is probably a good idea for me to cut down on all things gaming for a while until I sort some stuff out.

At least there are two small milestones that I 'm happy to make note of here. The first is that I've hit the 40,000 gamescore mark. The second is that I've now played 100 individual 360 games (not including arcade).

So, hope all is well with everyone. I'll pop in here every now and again, and will be hoping to be gaming with you again soon!

I got trapped in a vent for two months and drove myself crazy

For the last few months I've played a lot of racing games amongst other genres.

Forza 3. It's Forza 2.5. I swear, this series has the most boring AI drivers.

DIRT, I love this game! Trophy Trucks are the best. I've played through the career and now it's time for the Championship.

Baja: Edge of Control. Another great off-roader with many types of vehicles including Trophy Trucks. By the way the Dakar Rally is currently happening!!! There really needs to be a game for that.

    Race Pro was very disappointing.

Need For Speed: Shift is really good except for the drifting.

GRID. I think they used the Dirt engine for this and didn't change the car mechanics for racing tracks, so it feels like your hovering just above the ground.

Midnight Club: LA. Everything is great except not a big selection of cars.

Out of those games that I will continue with are Dirt, Baja: Edge of Control, and Midnight Club: LA. The rest I don't have anymore interest in.

The next lot of games I rented:

    Assassin's Creed 2 didn't grab my interest.

Prince of Persia has some great dialogue and is decent apart from too much emphasis on collecting.

Lego Batman was fun to play through!

Mercenaries 2 isn't as bad as it's made out to be, but that doesn't mean it's great either.

Wolfenstein. They should know better than to release this crap.

Dragon Age: Origins. As cliche as it looks and feels it's still holds its own.

Dead Space. I though that i would hate this game - on the contrary I really enjoyed it and will have to get a copy as well as DA:O to finish them.

Mirror's Edge was good while it lasted. Played its short life through and laughed at one of the most terrible endings for a game ever.

Civilization Revolution is really good for what it is, but at the end of the day, if I want to play Civ, I'll play the PC version.

    Ok, finally, I think,

I'm still playing Mass Effect after a bit of a break from it. I can see myself playing through this a few times.

Still playing through Fallout 3 - Slowly but surely.

I finished my second playthrough of Far Cry 2!

    Still playing through Bioshock.

I also picked up Rise of the Argonauts and am just under halfway through I think. This game got some bad reviews, and while I agree with quite a few points, and that it's by no means up there with the better action-rpg's, I think it uses the myths, characters and story really well to a point where it stands out when compared with a generic action-rpg that has very good game mechanics. So, I guess if you know or are remotely interested in the story of Jason in search of the golden fleece, then this is still a worthy game to try.

Finally, finally, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is a very difficult game. For this reason, I love it.
