  back on my feet

  thanks for all the get-well-wishes i'm now back at work and able to function normally although i still have a bit of a cough and a cold.

  today i'm getting my brand-new ---

  iPod Touch. 32GB. 

  i've been wanting a pocket organizer/portable video player/internet-capable gadget and the iPod Touch perfectly meets all my needs. and the avallable applications look awesome!my old iPod will now be assigned to the car. 

  meanwhile, i didn't realize how behind i am in gaming until i saw --

  

  the new Tomb Raider!!!!!!!! 

  yeah i haven't been gaming much lately - what with all the work then the sabbatical and the moving into the new place... i have totally neglected my games! 

  and i think i need to buy myself a new PS3. my current one just keeps on having problems and guess what and i don't want to keep on having my games interrupted. i think that's part of the reason i laid off gaming for a while. i've been playing a lot of PS3 and it kept on freezing or hanging or won't even read disks. i got frustrated. i vow never to be an early adapter again. PS3 units are now half the price i paid for my first one, with bigger capacities.

  anyway, as for my anime watching:

  - Bleach kills me with excitement. i've reached episode 188 and am waiting for the next set to be available.

  - discovered Vampire Knight and i have been totally bitten and smitten 

  - finished a lot of Macross : Macross Zero, Macross Frontier, Macross the Movie

  that's it for now. gotta go. christmas traffic is starting

  down with the flu

  i'm down with the flu

  been cooped up at home for about four days now. it doesn't help that i've moved all my books and my TV and games to the new place - my current room is practically empty except for my computer, bed and clothes. i've run out of books to read and dvds to watch. and i couldn't play games because i get a headache after ten minutes.

  i'm feeling 30-40% better now though, but not yet enough to sustain me if i go out. *sigh*

  garden and spa day

  as promised, some snapshots from my freeday with the girls

  we all had facials and milk scrubs and some of us had foot reflex massages. the lunch was a buffet of very fresh salad (with rose petals), pasta with various sauces, caramelized fruits, chocolate cake and tarragon tea.

  it was a very good bonding moment for the team.
