  New Computer Supplies!

  As I've actually made some money this summer, I've been able to buy some of the computer supplies that I should have gotten a while ago. The other day I purchased several items from newegg.com

  • 500 GB Seagate External Harddrive
  • Laptop Cooler Platform
  • 4-Port USB Hub

  I've been wanting to get these things for a while, and I hated to use the money, but they will be put to good use during the school year, which begins in eight days...

  Also, I got a new wireless keyboard and mouse! For free! You can check it out at this link. It's a sweet setup. I'm here on a friend's futon typing this blog while my computer sits across the room. It's awesome.

  Anyway, I got it from Microsoft's search engine. They have games where you can make an account, and then you get tickets from the games. So far I've gotten this keyboard set, and a Zune drawstring/backpack thing. Totally free and overboard. I guess Microsfot is trying to drum up business for the search engine, and so they use the games to generate activity.

  I don't really care, though.

  So, I've been having a really good past couple of days!!!

  The Dark Knight (Part II)

  So, the trip to the IMAX didn't pan out. We talked about it and decided not to go. This weekend, The Dark Knight was on at the drive-in again, along with Wanted. That's a pretty awesome double feature. And for five bucks a person, it's hard to beat. So we went to that instead of the IMAX, and saved some money, and still had a great time.

  The Dark Knight (Part I)

  The drive-in has had The Dark Knight for the past two weekends, and it unfortunately has not worked for my family to go either weekend. The first weekend was The Dark Knight followed by Journey to the Center of the Earth. I wanted to see them both, but it rained the nights we were going to see them. Last weekend was Hancock followed by The Dark Knight, but my father worked over the weekend, so that didn't work.

  However, my parents asked me if it would make up for it if we went to see The Dark Knight at an IMAX theater. I'm still somewhat in shock. So, I'm really looking forward to this coming weekend!!

  I have been intentionally avoiding finding much out about what happens in the course of the movie, though I did check a few reviews. It seems that the movie will live up to my expectations!!
