    Just finished Sin and Punishment.

Wow! I cannot believe US gamers did not get this game until 2007. It's that good. The controls take a while to get used to, but once you get used to them, you'll have a good time. And the game is hard too.

But the game has a few of problems. One of them I agree with others on is that the story is short. The story ends on a cliffhangar. Voice acting is terrible. And the story is screwed up.

Either way, bring on Sin and Punishment 2 (which is coming out soon). And if you haven't played Sin and Punishment already, check it out. It really kicks ass. Download it on Virtual Console, or if you have a Japanese N64, import it. It's that good.

Also one of my favorite Rail Shooters.

Some things I don't care for anymore

If you hadn't noticed from my past forum and blog posts, I was pretty *ick* on a few things and why I hated them, but now thinking about them, I really don't think I should care about them anymore. Here's what I'm talking about:

"Milking" of franchises- You know, like what Activision does with Guitar Hero, Call of Duty, etc. Other companies kinda do the same, but really, as long as it's bringing enjoyment, why should it matter? I agree that some of them can be stupid (like *insert other instrument here* Hero, Mario spinoffs that aren't Mario Kart and the RPG's, etc.), but in the end, who says we had to buy them? I also lost intrest in the constant Dragon Ball fighters and I admit I did get pissed off about that in the past, but in the end, it's what people enjoy. Why should I argue?

The Badly Aging old games fact- I admit that there are games (like Star Fox original, Goldeneye, and Super Smash Bros original) that aged bad graphically, but I don't know if it's either Nostalgia or the fact that I sometimes play these old games late from the systems I played in my childhood. I still have fun nonetheless. I started playing Sin and Punishment this year, and I can tell that aged worse than Star Fox 64, but I'm still having fun with it.

Yeah, two of these things, but they're my personal thoughts.

Virtual Console games I got from my holiday Nintendo Points card

So, here are the two games I've decided on.

    Sin and Punishment:

    Sin and Punishment

Why I chose this: Getting ready for Sin and Punishment 2 on the Wii.

Hands on Impressions: I haven't played the original Japanese game when it came out (because I didn't/still don't have a Japanese N64), but I can tell you, it probably looked great when it came out, but they look weak compared to Star Fox 64. Controls take a while to get used to on the CIassic Controller. I haven't played it with a Gamecube controller yet, so no comment there.

Super Star Wars: A New Hope:

    Super Star Wars

Why I chose this: I've been waiting for a long time for Star Wars to hit Virtual Console.

Hands on Impressions: Wow! The game looks really good for the SNES. And the controls work really well. I can't even beat the first level right now, because the Sarlacc Pit is such a ***** to fight.

    Well, I'm off.
